Hooked a Big Fish Slide Baiting by the Road

🎣 This Lateral Line fishing mission is an easy one. Day 1 kicks off with the boys casting their lines right off the main road. Live baits are quickly acquired, and it doesn't take long before a live bait is eaten by something with some serious pulling power! The rest of the day is spent land-based fishing off the road.
On Day 2, the boys team up with Gene from Strictly Land Based Fishing, using his boat to access some prime spots and success follows! Stay tuned to the end of the video to hear the latest update on the FlyFin boat build.

Awesome video guy's. Hey ya should try using a swivel and a big glow bead on that slider rig. I use about a metre of trace to the sinker from the swivel. It keeps the live bait off the bottom and stops the sinker against the fishes face which helps them throw the hook's. The bead stops the slider from going over the swivel down to the sinker. I Also use a lighter trace on the sinker so if it gets snagged it can just bust off and still have the fish on.

Yes, Toyota is on the back burner. There is a hold up around certification of the chassis as it was a crashed vehicle. Taking longer than expected. Chur chur

We are pretty new to slide baiting. We only fish with braid but we have had comments saying it’s better with mono. I think just give it a go with what you have and go from there 😎 chur chur
