I was sitting here missing my dad who I lost in October. Thinking about how two of the places we’d spent so much time on at Bob Hall Pier and Copano Bay Pier are gone now when your video popped up. Every time I see one of your videos it reminds me of my dad and I feel like he’s watching with me but then the song at the end really hit me. Thank you sir for putting these videos out. I know how you feel. I grew up going every summer to Port A and always went surf fishing with my dad in the mornings. In the evenings, we'd go to one of the t-head piers in the channel. Don't even know if you can drive down that way any more.

Hey Beach Bum, Chris in San Antonio here. Recent subscriber and really enjoy your content. Not just fishing but educational as well. Just watched this one again. I've heard tossing bait/lures at the pillars of that pier is a good way to snag some fish. I'll be in Port A 9/8 - 9/14; I'll keep an eye out for your jeep. PS - I keep trying to order leaders from Stanfield, but they seem to be sold out of most. Taking your advice and going to try and shop there.

Dude, ya gotta bow to the king, when a tarpon is on the line. Point your rod down when they jump. Otherwise, they’ll throw tje hook.
