We would splash cold water on our faces with wet wash cloths to stay awake! For H and BC as well as the Ghoul on Sat. Nights!

When I got my first 8mm movie camera in 1971, my 8th grade classmate and I shot a parody of Hoolihan and Big Chuck complete with our own made-up skits. We used a cassette recorder for sound. It was a blast.... I was Hoolie... 😂

What this show WAAAAAAY back in the '60s, growing up in Ontario where we could pull in signals all the way to Cleveland! When I moved away in 1970, that was that. Never thought I'd see this again!

I think one or two weeks later ”Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman” was the movie. ...and my movie poster artwork was among the pictures shown. Great memories ...started the 8th grade at Annunciation grammar school in September.

A rather bizarre local show, I must say. We here in Chicago dabbled with weird comedy TV shows as well. 😆

25:23 - A spoof of the long-running Colt 45 commercials that used "Solfeggio" (the Nairobi Trio tune from Ernie Kovacs' TV shows) and starred Canada's own Billy Van as the bored man. Billy's especially beloved for playing Count Frightenstein (and almost every other character) on the 1971 cult classic children's show, "Hilarious House of Frightenstein".
