I've always had a bit of love for Corvairs. Sadly, they were never sold here in Australia so trying to get one would be ridiculously expensive. This is just a lovely thing and Chris seems like a really nice guy.

I honestly love this car and the whole thought process behind it. i bought my current car (a 2000 Chrysler neon) for $700 my previous car got totalled. I've had so many different ideas for what I'm doing with it first i wanted to lift it then lower it on coils now i wanna bag it. but the whole time I've known its gunna ultimately gunna be a ratrod showcar mashup and I've nicknamed it Frankie cause its my Frankenstein monster. its builds like this Corvair that and the custom backyard builds that keep me going on my own build and remind me whats Possible. Its also got Hoonigan basically everywhere you look from decals to a custom Stencil bombed dash. Love what you guys do and the cars you promote and show. Keep it up and i can only dream to show one of my cars with you guys one day.

These were cool lil cars and I want to say that there was a following to these cars similar to the people who love VWs, just no where near as big. My Father had a Corvair that he bought from a car lot in Seattle back in the in the 70's. It came with a couple bags of concrete up front along with a 5 foot section of rail road track. It needed extra weight up front because he was actually able to buy his Corvair with the Chevy 350 conversion done to it. For those that dont know. They actually sold a bolt on kit where you could put a Chevy 350 in the car where the back seat was supposed to go. He said it was one of the funniest and scariest cars that he ever owned He said the car was fast as hell even though the 350 was bone stock. He said if you smashed the go petal to the floor you had better been in a straight line because you where not able to steer the car because it always lifted the front wheels off of the ground
