I did lots of research on the Genesis Coupe and cars in general in 2020 and 2021. I have a stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8. In the future, I either plan to get a built 2.0 installed, or have it LS swapped. The 3.8 is a more expensive option to have built to 4.0. There are some 4.2L out there. These cars can be twin turbo or supercharged. The 2.0 cars have reached 700 to 800whp+. The highest 3.8 usually range from 500 to 600whp. I think Justin in Hawaii has that blue Genesis Coupe 3.8 twin turbo, and I heard it is near 800whp, but he never posts numbers or anything. This car is a sleeper when done correctly, but the aftermarket is limited for the 3.8, and too many people keep their builds secret. Especially cost. Justin did tell me he paid over 20,000 for his 4.2L from Travis at MT Motorsports. I like this car, and I don't plan to get rid of it anytime soon. It looks too good. It just needs to be built with an engine.
