Colorado's Cody Williams has an intriguing skillset as a slender wing with the ability to get to the bucket, serve as an off ball threat and provide versatility on defense. He's raw and will need time to develop physically and as a shooter, but he could be worth the perceived risk in the lottery. Younger brother of OKC's Jalen Williams.

Good lord!! Cody is going to be a late bloomer and rapid improver just like his bro was. The difference is - Cody is going to make those huge improvement strides in the NBA instead of the relative obscurity in Santa Clara. His touch is INSANELY good. 74% at the rim ALREADY when he weights 100 pounds is actually scary. Think how good he's going to be when he packs on some muscle and core strength. He's highly intelligent, has a great work ethic, and has the drive to get better and better every year. He's going to be SO much better in the NBA with more spacing. I trust his outside shot attempts to sky-rocket, while keeping his 40%+ efficiency due to the open looks he'll get from NBA-level passers, and those fingertips are already golden. I'd gladly take him at any pick if I was selecting outside the Top-3. This kid is going to be VERY good in the NBA.

Young. Shot needs work. Defense forecasts as impactful, but who knows. Has previously been ranked higher. Long term project with high upside. Perfect Portland pick.

I think people overreact to the weight. If anything the fact that he finished so well at his weight shows that he could be an elite driver and finisher if he filled out his frame. His brother was also a late bloomer as a basketball player for what it's worth. I think he could be great.

That's a dangerous game. They are brothers not twins. Look at the Holidays. Jrue is basically a fire hydrant, Justin is a toothpick and Aaron is a small. Giannis is an MVP. Thanasis is a bench warmer. Marc and Pau Gasol had completely different body types.

@@OwskiiiGamingEhhh that doesn't mean much. Progression as we've seen isnt linear. That's not to say he won't be great but just because J Dub is great doesn't mean he will be. Whose better at what age doesn't mean much either Lonzo and LaMelo prove this pretty well.

@@whoopiebob8782 how do they? You’d take lamelo over a healthy lonzo? Maybe if your a charlotte fan lol lonzo impacts winning on both sides of the floor not just an inefficient flashy passer .If he has his brothers work ethic he will be just fine.

@@OwskiiiGaming yes I'm taking a healthy LaMelo over a healthy Lonzo unless I'm a playoff team who needs more of a role player. I also don't know about Lonzo impacting winning on both sides of the ball. He clearly impacts defensively but offensively he's just a floor spacer. But there's tons of teams that'd take LaMelo over Lonzo given both are healthy.

Look at J-dubs physical and skill development from highschool through usc and now a few years into the nba, and you have the chance to take his younger brother who has a better resume and better physical measurements compared to Jdub at the same age. Look at how many pairs of siblings there are in the NBA, a number that's grown a lot recently for whatever reason Cody Williams seems like the most obvious draft steal of all time, right? what am i missing

He has no arsenal in his offense tho. Spin cycle, spin cycle lay up. Would like to see him get atleast a jumper. To me, he can be a 3-D at the most in couple years in the league. Definitely not a lottery imo.

Intriguing prospect. He has more length than his brother and appears more athletic. He has the frame to put on a bit more weight. Cody Williams is definitely a project and will take time to develop, but I see a lot of promise and agree his ceiling could be quite high. If he finds a home with the right team and gets time to home his raw talent, I am excited about how good a player he could become.

I saw a few of his games against UW and I wasn't that impressed-- if he wasn't Jalen's brother I would have wondered if he was related to Issac Bonga.-- smart guy with meh athleticism, ok shooter, and decent handles. Now, he will get stronger, but I don't see a great athlete. Hopefully the shot improves.

He has all the tools to be a great NBA player. In my opinion he has a much higher ceilling than a player like Castle. In a draft with limiited upside players.. Im taking a swing on this guy.

He reminds me a lot of a young Jerami Grant will less raw athleticism and explosiveness. Ironic considering there's a real chance they could be playing together.
