I view 2 guards as a ceiling raiser position. Meaning when you have a bad team then 2 guards can only do so much. But if you have a good team, 2 guards will make that team a juggernaut. If I'm looking for someone to build a system around. I'm not taking any. Maybe book or spida. But if I already have a good system like boston 5 out or triangle and need someone to raise my ceiling. Then im taking brown.

@@kjjr3270 this argument is the dumbest logic, and kyrie is better than Jaylen brown, lets not act like brown had a good finals either because he objectively didn’t offensively. Kyrie is the clear better offensive player, better three point shooter off the catch and dribble and overall as well while brown is the worse shooter off the catch in their starting lineup, he’s a way better playmaker and passer, slightly better midrange shooter and the better ball handler and processor of defenses with the ball. He averaged 25.6/5/5 on 49/41/90 on 61% true shooting compared to Brown’s 23/5/3 on 50/35/70 on exactly 58% true shooting which is literally exactly neutral efficiency which isn’t great either. He’s still flawed as a playmaker and passer, he averaged 3.6 assists with 2.4 turnovers, that isn’t good either. Holiday and White starting masked his playmaking deficiencies.

That’s already 3 good games counting his worst series, he averaged 26.5 on 51/44/85 splits against the clippers which means he was good for that whole series and he averaged 27 on 49/37/81 splits against the number one ranked defense in the Twolves. He definitely had way more than 4 good games, that statement is obviously cap🤣🤣.
