i'm pretty sure this song is about the relationship between Richtofen and Sam. Richtofen hates Sam for her part in killing his family along with the fact she's a dangerous being with dark aether powers so he feels the obligation to contain and experiment on her, but possibly deep down, knows she isn't really a bad person. The same could be said for Sam herself as she blames herself for Eddie being this way and sees that he feels he's doing the right thing but it was Edward who put her in the dark aether and messing with otherworldly energies for possible selfish goals so she feels the need to be against and harm him. Eddie is a liar and Samantha wants him to pay. I haven't finished the liberty falls ee just yet so i might edit this if theres any room to additions or corrections or something.
