Can the ball ever bounce outside of the netting? I have a small yard, close to the adjacent properties. Trying to buy something that serves double duty and prevents the ball from taking a long bounce over the fence.

Yes, it can happen. If it consistently happens that typically means the shooter is shooting with too much arc on their shot. Higher arc = higher bounce if missed.

Only annoying thing about this is if I want to play a 1 on 1 I’d have to take this off constant

Yes you would have to do that but just plan out your shooting workout, take it down and then play!

No. The shot counter will only keep track of attempts.
