Hey finally back to watching KZbin for inspo. This was great. I like your style and your honesty, which is why like enjoy your channel so much, I don’t usually comment though. I should take my time more often on some layouts and stitch or really use stamps. I buy them for mostly Scrapbooking rather than cards and then just set aside. Seeing more about stamping helps me be more creative too.

I love your scene building. Sometimes it’s really fun to add lots of details. Sometimes my photos lack the ability to tell the story & scene building makes it feel like u were part of the celebration. I’m so glad you said it took you two weeks. It’s ok if some layout take time. How did you know which inks to buy that would match your papers? This came out really fun.

I don't buy inks hoping they match papers. I prefer the price point of the mini ink cubes. There are so many brands though. Since I've done a few Pinkfresh classes I started buying their sets and now have them all. Between those and the Lawn Fawn mini cubes I can usually find something close enough to match most things.

Nicole, do you have any suggestions for a more masculine border punch? I like your bubble one but it’s not available anymore. I have so many but mine are lacy and flowery and I just don’t like using them on a little boy layout. Seems border punches aren’t a currently “in” scrapbooking tool. Even Amazon doesn’t have too much. I thought maybe close to my heart or Stampin up but no go.
