I was amazed to see this incomplete copy! Now all that remains is to find a complete copy of this short film, the Felix short film "The Cat's Meow (1929)" and its last episode in black and white with the unknown title, which will be more difficult to find, if not impossible.

The last episode of Felix the Cat produced by Sullivan was "Backyard Serenade", released on July 26, 1931.

@@blackcow4219 According to IMDB, which created this page, it's alternately titled "Forty Winks," so it's not likely that this is actually the name of Felix's latest Copley Pictures episode.

It's a shame it's currently lost, it's the first time I've seen a monochrome Felix cartoon with smooth animation

Between the great Felix the Cat or KoKo the Clown,these are the greatest of them all. Everyone after them could only copy what these two animation giants did before. . Although I must give props to Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. He was a contemporary worthy of the title and a great character as well. Mickey Mouse is really a "Johnny come lately" compared to this particular group.
