I remember the first time I heard them. Grunge was the thing at the time. Then "Hold My Hand" comes on the radio and it was so refreshing. I was instantly a fan.

This was great television/radio. I could watch them everyday with Dan. Thank you guys. I bought your new album today.

What an amazing interview! Dan Patrick let them speak and hardly interupted them. I could listen to Hootie and the Blowfish every day. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey Hey What Can I Do is my favorite Led Zeppelin song, and Hootie did a GREAT cover of that song.

Love my Hootie guys!

I saw them on that tour with Toad The Wet Sprocket. People think Hootie and Toad would be a weak concert, but both bands killed it.

But why was the bouncer telling him to take off his hat?

Such an obvious bullshit story. Yeah these guys are going around beating up bouncers....sure.

I loved them in the 90's, but the claim Darius makes about them being responsible for killing 'Grunge' is false. Grunge was somewhat mainstream and was slowly edged out by pop and 'hip hop', not a definitive album by Hootie & The Blowfish. They aren't what Nirvana was to Hair Metal, that would be giving them too much credit.
