Well I was on the same situation 20 v lithium life and I end up buying 2 more batteries an after a few months of use same problem, but came across to this video and I give a try an honestly works for every single one Thank you for the video 😁

Thank you, the more recycling, the less waste. Big bosses want our money and wasting the world

Thank you! This actually worked!!

How do you short the board? It looks like you are using your turned off multimeter probes on P1 and P5, and then a 3rd thing is quickly touching 1 of the probes. What is that? Great video thanks!

So did anyone get any further with their onepwr battery? I have lights 1 and 3 on. I took the battery apart all the 18650 cells are above 3.2v. I can do this reset on pins 1 and 3 and all 5 lights come up and then go off. Still no different though.

Do you have an idea of unscrewing b012 battery for the hoover h100? Thanks
@aceryeo84093 жыл бұрын
The battery on my Vax has a charging board almost identical to yours. The battery measures fully charged but the output is 10v with no current capability. Tried shorting the pins suggested but no change. Have you any ideas?

Might be bms damaged. You can basically buy a 18V bms circuit but you need to charge it an external power supply

how did you set the volt meter? was the charger plugged in?

Controller PIC powers from the battery also has permanent memory Rom.

@@tipstricksreviews4481 I'm not sure what that means.

@@herbsu4330 I used voltmeter just to show pins. You are not resetting with the voltmeter.This is a pic controller and I looked its datasheet for reset pins. It seems manufacture made an expensive charging board with all those contollers

what screws weere in the cover plate? I tried the torx bits that I have but nothing fits. It's not metric or regular hex or phillips.

I wonder if this would work on our 21.6 V Li-Ion battery pack for an older Hoover Cruise ultra lite cordless vacuum cleaner? We bought it used and it seemed to work pretty well for the first few times and then suddenly it started to shut off after about 5 or so seconds of use. I've tried charging the batteries twice and it still shuts off.

It seems you might need battery cells inside, be casefull when you are working on lithium batteries
@bodeine4542 жыл бұрын
@@tipstricksreviews4481 I still have that vacuum but we've bought a new one since then. I still may try to change the battery cells inside, I'll be careful, I've watched several videos on changing lithium cells, thank you...

Newbie needs help. On voltmeter between pins 1&2 and between pins 1&5 there are 5 volts before shorting and still 5 volts after shorting. I'm certain that I shorted (tried several times). Is voltage after shorting supposed to be a different than 5volts?
@tipstricksreviews44812 жыл бұрын
Voltage doesn’t change. Its a PIC microcontroller. You can type the model number on google and be sure which legs are for reset.

My 1 and 5 showed 0.3 volts so I hope this works

Lol you shorted every pin! I got what you're saying but i thought it was funny to watch as you list numbers, but i think you meant don't short anything else besides those 5 program pins
@dwhela8856 Жыл бұрын
Be Careful, I shorted 1-2 and 1-5, then a chip on the board became extremly hot and will not cool down, and the battery will not even work in the vacuum now even with 18v since I manually charged it before shorting the test pins. This did not work for me and now battery is useless.

Mine did the same thing. It might be one of those 750 resistors (R20). At 20V would be a 0.0267A drain or 0.533W. I wondered if it was draining the battery for a re-charge. It just started a few minutes ago. Did yours ever work again or did you purchase a new battery for it?
