Hoover Y bag fits also. I like three soft-bag: no exhaust blast! Had mine for two years, got rid of the canister. This upright is a very nice machine.

How would a Y bag fit? Wouldn't dust fly everywhere due to the shape of the Q bag fill tube?

I like the idea of a lightweight upright with the stair handle at the base. But do these fabric vacuums really hold odors? I have a heavily shedding dog that really smells like a dog even when she's clean. :) Is there any way to wash the fabric part?
