Hoover Senior 612 - After a sympathetic restoration.

Yet another smashing I'm after one great example of a vintage hoover machine still going after 70 years and that still will outlast Dyson in a further 70 years time.

Beautiful job sir! I started mine 18 months ago and it's still in pieces, in a box, in the workshop. Really should get on with it lol

Just bought another myself - in poor condition but i missed having a big old powerful senior around! That looks absolutely superb in every way Sam!

​@beko1987 painting is a ball ache isn't it! Did a handle for a 119 once at the wrong time of year I painted the handle! Took days and days to dry😂

I love my 612 luckily mines still got the rubberised cable the only Thing not made by Hoover is the bag that says the senior cleaner But the rest of it is all made by Hoover, not had to do much work to it but would love to do this to my base but don’t trust myself especially with my shakey M.S hands lol Sam I could spend a fortune with you getting my vacs sorted, just can’t do them myself anymore bacause of the M.S ( and now the cancer ) Try and drop Me a message somehow if you have anytime to do any work to my vacuums Mainly my 612 also after a lux twin turbo can’t remember the model number though, think you had the top of the line burgundy model and I want the model Down from that one let Me know if you can help mate.
