Very interesting. With regard to MORENA and local elections, the candidates for municipal president (mayor) came out to campaign in a little park in my working class neighborhood. I saw very few faces from the neighborhood at the rally. There were 20-30 adults there, many wearing Morena shirts or ball caps. But what was interesting was that there was about a dozen Guardia Nacional positioned around the rally area. I’ve never seen this level of security for a mayoral campaign. In an odd way, it seemed like a show of force. I don’t think Morena is popular here (PAN and PRI candidates get better turnouts, but they give out hats, umbrellas, children’s school bags, etc.) At this rally the MORENa candidate’s campaign staff gave out shopping bags. Kind of chintzy. I’m probably reading too much into it. But it was odd that there was the national guard there, and so many of them. I don’t remember ever seeing a PRI or PAN candidate with more than a couple policemen, if that.

I guess bailing out banks, the rich etc is better than giving out scholarships, and other benefits to the people in your opinion. Maybe you should move out here to the good old USA , and pay taxes without any representation.

I lived in Juarez when the administration this guy worked at sent the army and I saw the damage is that policy. Let’s have him talk about human rights then. He may have good criticisms of the current administration but has no credibility to accuse anyone unless he denounces his own administration and should be addressed on each interview he gives.

Big mistake this Trump thing in ny. It's like a vail has dropped in front of my eyes. I find it hard to sympathize with average mexican, when the same conniving overreach here in America, shame comes to mind, first this afghan debacle then Trump.
