Thanks for sharing. The intro uses lyrics and music from the song "Bonnie and Clyde" by Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot. (Maybe someone didn't know, like me. Thanks for Dany Hanny to prompting me.) Alors voilà, Clyde a une petite amie Elle est belle et son prénom c'est Bonnie À eux deux, ils forment le gang Barrow Leurs noms, Bonnie Parker et Clyde Barrow Quite interesting: here is a reference to the criminal duet, and in the official video Geike is in the image of a black widow with two revolvers (and it looks like she, Raymond and Alex are a criminal band). What was the inspiration for this song, maybe the above mentioned song or some gangster movie?

Thank you so much for telling me all this! 😮 I was wondering what the intro was 🎉 Alex is a huge Serge Gainsbourg fan, and the parallel you made is totally fitting. In an interview Alex said that The Wrong Place is the sequel to The Night Before (inspired by the movie The Hangover). Meanwhile, for The Wrong Place he and Charlotte Foret were inspired by all the restrictions during the pandemic and everything you couldn't do in lockdown (go on a Tinder date and... kill a guy? 🙈 Lol) Still, Serge Gainsbourg might have provided some more inspiration 😎

Thanks for these interesting details. ❤ I love how Alex creates mini-series out of some of songs! An interview with the band was published on the website of the Belgian newspaper "L'Avenir" and there you can read about this marvellous arrangement: "C'est venu comme ça lors d'une répétition, explique Alex. On s'est dit que cela pouvait marcher. Souvent les accidents font les meilleures idées." By the way, the article contains a link to this video! 🎉

Quelle claque!!! Mais quelle claque!!! Je savais que les deux garçons étaient deux « pilleurs » de génie… Dalida , Isaac Hayes… Mais Gainsbourg, loin de me douter . Tout compte fait, c’est bien normal car lui aussi était un pilleur de mélodies classiques. Geike est surprenante, vraiment surprenante. Bravo!

Hello everyone. I remembered that shortly after the release of the album "Hidden Stories", I found the official website in support of this album, which was launched by the band. (It can be easily found by following phrase: "Ready to explore the hidden stories of Hooverphonic?") Has anyone been able to solve the riddle on this site and find out these "hidden stories"? What are these stories? Thank you in advance.

Hi! I only remember something on their Instagram account, I think the password was “Johnny Cash” and the “stories” were a few lyrics from the album. Not sure it's the same thing you were referring to.
