If you are in the market of flipping cars for a living, or even a hobby, why would you want to divulge any information ? There is nothing sneaky about what these guys are doing. If you are buying used cars it's up the potential buyer to do any leg work. I hear all the time about so and so being a crook or what have you. You never hear about a buyer being an idiot. When you are buying a used car you need to do as much research as possible. Never buy any car sight unseen. "But I don't know anything about cars." Then take one of your friends to have a look. In every circle of friends there is always that one guy that knows about cars. People need to stop blaming the seller about a car being a POS. They need to point the finger at themselves for being an idiot.

@@Mike-qp8bv I don’t think you understand why people hate flippers. It’s not that someone got a bad deal or bad car, it’s that flippers bring nothing of value to the equation. They insert themselves, extract wealth from the transaction, and further drive market value upwards, all without improving any aspect of the process. All of this results in a loss for the enthusiast. If someone is supporting flippers and not enthusiasts it really says something about them as well.

Because of the great work done by the Car Wizard and his crew and Van Go and his crew, the Hoovie brand is actually worth more at auction then many other car sellers cars. Hoovie is brutally honest about the cars he sells and the work he pays for to make the cars whole again. That's way better then a CarFax. Having someone actually inspect the car ,that you can trust before you buy it and get the bugs out makes the car way much more valuable. Plus being able to go to KZbin and have an instant review of all the cars former issues and the great repairs done in priceless. It's very important that people see HIGH quality work done which is all that the Car Wizard and Van Go do, so Hoovie congrats on a great sale. Watching Richard Rawlings getting royally reamed at multiple auctions was all I needed to see. Hello facebook marketplace (I know, I know-but hey, at least it's free!) Glad you did well, Hoovie!

That auctioneer did you a solid pushing the Superbird like that.

I'd push it pretty hard for 8% too! 😂

Great to ride along with you through the auctions, Hoovie! Can't wait to see where the money (burning a hole in your BJ account, for now) went....... Much more fun to come I am sure!!

That was one of your most exciting videos. I hope there will be more auctioning or car-flipping videos. I love the hunt for a profitable bargain.

Good work Hoovie! Too bad about the Cyclone honestly, 20k is a great buy for that. Makes you wonder how much you would have made in peak covid times, I'm thinking at least 50% more.

I can't believe that guy sprayed quick start directly into the air cleaner on a fuel injected engine on an extremely valuable car that was just about to be auctioned.

My machinist is a devoted Mopar man. He has them everywhere in his shop. I had him watch this video along with the vid where you first got the Superbird. He says a 426 Hemi that is locked up and needing a full rebuild will still cost, on average, of 40 grand. A fully restored Hemi goes for around 80,000 bucks. These #'s are for engine only! It just wasn't the right crowd of bidders for selling the Superbird. That's a chance you take when you sell at auction. It's exactly like gambling. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

I think if the super bird was brought back to OEM (stock tune, wheels, etc) it likely would have gone above $200k
