Just got the V-Mount battery holder. Great upgrade for the older one with the tubes.

All are great options. I'd maybe add a mid 49 Universal Speedball monitor mount, also under $100.

If you're crafty, I suggest giving more reinforcement to the screen. While touching it vertically, you can notice slight movement up and down while using. Wasn't a fan from day one. Not on a $2700 camera. SO: Using at least 1mm thickness of plasticard: Take roughly a 2cm x 1.5cm piece of black plasticard fixed to the BOTTOM of the camera (does not interfere with the black mamba or camera at all) along with around a 1mm x 2cm piece to place ABOVE the screen portion. I used a tad of superglue, and now this thing feels so secure when I close/operate the screen. (Just create a ledge at the bottom and fill the gap at the top)

Zeiss Lens Wipes are an absolute NECESSITY for me. Sure, I use a microfiber cloth MOST of the time, but sometimes it just seems to leave streaks, no matter what I do. At those times, I use the Zeiss Lens Wipes and everything is nice and clean. As for the items in yoiur video, looking very much at the V-Mount plate and a Dummy Battery. I would probably get the V-Mount to NPF Battery adapter though, because I have a ton of those NPF batteries and only one V-Mount battery, and it is really big (not like those SmallRig batteries).

Whats your methods when dealing with difficult white balance corrections using the S5iiX. I find it hard to recover certain images well from this sensor. Curious what everyone is doing to get perfect WB results in photo and video.

i think if they make a lumix s5 III with 3:2 Open Gate and 48 fps i will switch

It does 3:2 right? Is 48fps available in different aspect ratio?

Hey. man! Is T7 ssd good for proress shooting?
@StudioSteadPhotographicКүн бұрын
Don't know about ProRes RAW but I use S7s for 4k ProRes on all my Lumix cameras that support SSD recording.

If i want a top handle , should I add a top handle above the SSD , or should i move the SSD on the other cold shoe on the black mamba if theres space for the SSD right there
@Eric.mov_4 ай бұрын
There’s no good mounting options for SSDs on this camera. It’s unfortunate really
@aintnopicnic36623 ай бұрын
You can mount a T7 easily left/right beside the top handle.
@Eric.mov_3 ай бұрын
@@aintnopicnic3662 you can easily mount it everywhere but that’s doesn’t mean it’s optimal There are no good options to mount an SSD that aren’t either in the way, not secure or awkwardly positioned

@@Eric.mov_what about that top handle you can buy that fits an SSD inside it? That looks pretty clutch (wish I’d done it)
@Eric.mov_3 ай бұрын
@@Joyful-Yarn yeah that’s the only good options but it’s very very expensive for what is it. I wish there were another option that didn’t cost 300-500 dollar depending on what drives you get
