People are so quick to deny it, but even outside of his dreams or wtv that was, she just shouldn't have given him that much care or attention or physical contact. It automatically translates to romantic interest. @@amrita2338 exactly. I’m pretty sure Plec didn’t want a relationship between Damon and Bonnie in TVD, even though they were clearly teased as more than friends multiple times. In fact, they constantly had to hit us over the head with the phrase “You’re my best friend” between the two over and over in order to avoid that potential relationship. Bonnie in general was treated like a pile of horse shit by the writers. Her love interests were constantly getting killed off (most of whom were black as well), the one love interest that was kept alive cheated on her, and they didn’t even bother to address the major traumas and sacrifices she endured over the course of the show. Sorry for my rant, but lately I’ve just noticed TVD universe’s problem with race

Nobody wants to see love triangles. Stefan, Damon and Elena were a love triangle because it is based off The Vampire Diaries novels from the 90s where there was literally a love triangle between those three so that's understandable but other love triangles aren't necessary

The writers fumbled with this. It should have been Hope and Raphael not Hope and Landon. They would have made so much more sense. Landon was practically useless and she always had to rescue him. It was exhausting 😒
