My biggest downfalls in trading are my emotions and greed. Those two combinations cause me to trade when I shouldn't and stay in a trade when I should get out. which is weird cause I'm usually not a greedy person

When you have a big position on a winning trade, it often ends up as a losing trade. Because you will end up exiting on a loss when you get hit by volatility. Something a learned in the past.

This David Paul guy is amazing. Wonderful person with vast knowledge of the markets. This interview should be referenced time and time again, for new and veteran traders.

I agree, I made 20k on a real good trade, I managed to then loose over 9k over 4 weeks. I took a step back, I have been persistent and despite a loosing streak I am now becoming profitable and have learnt huge amounts from the loss and gain. If you let losses make you quit then you do not deserve gains. Education costs money and I can assure you, I have paid for mine emotionally and financially, however technically I only lost 9k out of 20 so the education was free in it's own way. Remember to take profits, soon as the trend bends make sure you END it, do not hope it will bounce back, its game over.

I believe demo trading is very important in the beginning. I see it as a boxer training for a fight, sure training and sparring are not the same, but you can't go into a real fight without training.

I came here always when fear possessed me fear of open a trade fear of losing my profits to get some energy... emotions are really hard to train it and it won't be trained only if ya trade with a real account. Best of luck to all of ya dear colleagues

3 people aren't in touch with their emotions. Another great talk from Mr Paul, he may be my favourite guest for overall knowledge on this channel, followed closely by Steve Ruffley for philosophy, Mark Sturdy for technical advice, and Francis Hunt for practical application.

I wouldn't say you stop the thoughts, that just creates more internal conflict, best to let them happen but don't hang on them.

After six months of doing active trading strategies so far I already profit over 10% from my orginal investment (is a small operation) but it could have been way better however I screwed it up due to my poor emitonal control, for example I sold Moderna and Disney stocks before they reached their highest gains just because I wasn't patient enough and of course I felt like the dumbest person on earth but as some say time beats timing and I'm here cause I don't want to make that kind of mistakes again.

My positive trades ratio higher than losing but still I'm not making profits because when I lose 1 trade, I take 2 trades without proper analysis n that's the beginning of downfall which involves my emotions. Honestly, struggling even now n not gonna give up but this isn't an easy journey to learn n earn but practice has important role also

This man David Paul was a great man . The interviewer however , in a previous interview when asked what the chance of two 50:50s in a row she said she didn’t know !!! He told her a quarter … a half x a half He later asked her what the chance of three 50:50s in a row were ….. She said I don’t know ❤ Why is somebody of this calibre interviewing a master of his craft ? It would be like me asking George Bush a question about Iraq and sitting back and when he asks me a question I just say I don’t know ❤ Pathetic really

Bro, my analysis is top notch, my entires are top notch, but I can't handle a fucking simple pullback. ... I try to reduce my position sizing but still that fucking impulse behaviour kicks in and I exit in first small pullback. ... I'm working on it, anybody would like to share his experience and suggest some practical points I should keep in my mind, is appreciated
