Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years, they do show ones who snap and try to bite but dogs are pretty receptive to care unless they have been severely mistreated. On one thing we agree, how anyone can look into the eyes of a total innocent and still be capable of hurting them is the action of a monster. I say that sitting with all four of my canine pals sprawled around and on top of me so you know I am biased, in a good way.

After having lived in a flea infested home where it was so bad that i have scars from them, it is AMAZING. I think i actually cried about a week later after getting out of there ((had moved in with my grandma. Parents had to rescue me for my mental health)) because i no longer slept in a bug infested bed and didnt have fleas biting at me.

Me and my Family we saw this abandoned golden retriever and was tied to a chain near the street and a sign that said free dog meat It broke my heart so we broke the chain and toke care of him and kept him and we named him Henry and we'll never leave him ever

I have an abused American Bulldog who ran to me to get away from her life..a mother cat locked up in a house the people moved from who was pregnant at the time and I have her now grown up babies and then a little stray who found love on my back door step. Pleased to meet you. Your life sounds just like mine. We now have 9 cats exactly from taking in 1 who then gave us 4, who we could not bear to part with. It's been this way my whole life; my mum is the same and all of our childhood animals were rescued. Apart from the various hedgehogs, pigeons, seagulls and squirrels we took home for her to save. Oh and very young baby birds who had fallen from their nests. It's in your blood and soul and part of who you are; a big part. Thank you for being an animal rescuer. Peace to you my friend. BTW I'm also getting that feeling about humans. I have very few in my life and i find I quite like it that way as so many humans are horrible! Keep the lovely few you have IMHO. No one needs 50 friends.

Dawn Sutton How lovely to read what you do. My home has so much love to give out.. I feed wild birds as well. All kinds and they have become my best friend. I have a blind bird in a cage who knows her way around perfectly..and a little sparrow sitting next to me atm..that my daughter gave me after it fell out of a tree 6 months ago. you can start by getting death row dogs out of the shelter, or even grabbing them before people get a chance to dump them there in high kill shelters

At the moment things will be delayed because I am 4-5 months pregnant, so I am limited on what I can do. But it is a good plan for my future!

Lola and Frankie are my two darling favourite foster sisters to all the rescued Hope For Paws doggies that their Mama takes in. They take such gentle, sweet care of each pupper, and teach them how to play as dogs, are constantly available for cuddles and skin contact. I adore them.

After his brief struggle, this poor dog looked like he'd given up on life (3:10) and accept his fate. Thank god he was rescued by these real life heroes. Oh wow what a beautiful baby! He looks exactly like a couple of my own puppy babies. Mine are Lhasa Apso-YorkiePoo mix, (I have both of those parents,) and then the two babies from those parents. They look so similar. Thank God they rescued this poor soul! I pray he finds his forever home soon, with love, good health, and affection, all the days of his life!
