Yes, I immediately apologized for yelling at my at my children when I was angry at their behavior. I reminded them that I too struggle with sin, but that I can confess my sin to Him and find forgiveness. I shared that Jesus is patient and kind as he disciplines me, and I want to be more like Him as I discipline them. I asked for forgiveness, which they gave. We hugged and then we did a Bible study together and a fun game. It gave me so much hope and encouragement!

I do apologize to my kids and I do want to more often, but sometimes I question how it would look apologizing again and again everyday but I take so long to change. I sometimes fear if my apology appear not meaning much or foresee another failure. My children would not care my imperfection and still come around but I feel like the damage I leave on them may still be there. I have been losing my temper so often over this yet short journey of homeschooling. (I would like to believe still that it is getting better.)
