It does not have a calvinist slant. It is honestly hard to tell where the author lands on doctrines that Christians disagree on.

Do you have any thoughts on this curriculum now that the school year has ended? I'm trying to decide between this and Understanding the Faith from Summit Ministries for my 9th grader next year.

I ended up using BJU Press Bible curriculum for my 9th grader this past year instead of Foundations in Faith from MB. I still think it's a great curriculum. Just took a different direction with Bible for my kids.

My 9th grader is on week 2 with this and it’s wonderful. Any suggestions how you would label it on a transcript? I’m thinking Intro to Theology

Intro to Theology is a great course title. You could also use Foundations of the Christian Faith.

Awesome, we just picked this one up for my 8th grade 13 yr. old daughter. I wish the cover were not so “girly” so we could use this for our son in a couple years as well. If I handed him this book he would not be happy.

I agree about the cover. I think it could have been done a little better to appeal to teens (boys and girls). My kids thought it was for elementary age based on the cover. The content is excellent though.

It’s for high school but I think a mature 7th or 8th grader could use it as well.

Oooh this looks interesting! But I had done More Than Words 2 with my Middles and didn't care for it. It was just okay. Have you used that? If so, any comparison as far as how you liked each one?

I have not used or seen the More Than Words curriculum but I believe they have different authors so I’m guessing they would be different.

This is a year long course and counts for 1 credit in Bible.
