Some says that Ten Commandments is only for the Israelites, when we accept Jesus Christ into our life as Lord and Savior, we become the adopted children of God Ephesians 3:20, we are Spiritual Jews. Ten Commandments in the Bible is different from Catholic Ten Commandments. (Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5) Bible Ten Commandments 1“I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any strange gods before Me.” 2"Thou shall not make graven imagines and worship idols." 3“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.” 4 “Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.” 5“Honor thy father and mother.” 6“Thou shalt not kill.” 7“Thou shalt not commit adultery.” 8 "Thou shall not steal. 9"Thou shall not bear false witness." 10"Thou shall not covet they neighbors wife and thy neighborhood goods." Catholic Ten Commandments 1.“I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any strange gods before Me.” 2.“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain." 3.“Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.” 4.“Honor thy father and mother.” 5.“Thou shalt not kill.” 6.“Thou shalt not commit adultery.” 7.“Thou shalt not steal.” 8.“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” 9.“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.” 10.“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.” Catholic Church remove 2nd commandment, "Thou shalt not make any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." they miss up the order, no.4 "Remember to keep the Sabbath Holy" they mark as no.3, Catholics go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday. No.10 commandment was split into 2, making no.9 You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, no.10 You shall not covet your neighbor's goods. to replace the 2nd command they remove. 2nd commandment has a warning and a promise: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. How important to our Christian faith to obey The Commandments of God. When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the Two Tablets of the Covenant Law, the tablets of stone.(Exodus 31:18) Written in Stone means forever. Holy Land is in Israel, Holy City is in Jerusalem, The Holy Mountain is Mount Sinai, The Holy Temple is in the Dome of the Rock. Inside the Holy Temple is divided into 3 parts, 1) Inner Court - This is the place where Israelites waited in reverent silence as their sacrifices to God were being burned. Cleansing and Purification 2) Holy Place - contained a seven-branched candlestick, a golden altar on which to burn incense and a table on which showbread (shewbread) was placed. It also had five tables along both the north and south walls of the area. 3)The Holy of Holies - the inner sanctuary of the Tabernacle where God's presence appeared. 1 Kings 8:9 inside the Ark of the Covenant there was only The Two Stone Tablets of Moses. Hebrews 9:3-4 mentions Three things, the Gold Jar of Manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the Stone Tablets of the Covenant. Three items were stored inside the Ark of the Covenant. They are the Ten Commandments, a pot of Manna, and the Rod of Aaron: First- The Ten Commandments which God wrote on Tablets of Stone with His own finger, and which His people will always obey (Revelation 14:12), were inside the ark (Deuteronomy 10:4, 5). 1 Samuel 4:16-18 “I have just come from the battle,” the man said to Eli. “I fled from there today.” “What happened, my son?” Eli asked. 17The messenger answered, “Israel has fled before the Philistines, and there has been a great slaughter among the people. Your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, are both dead, and the ark of God has been captured.” 18As soon as the ark of God was mentioned, Eli fell backward from his chair by the city gate, and being old and heavy, he broke his neck and died. Some think that the Ark of the Covenant was taken by Nebuchadnezzar to Babylon when he captured and destroyed Jerusalem in 586 BC. 2 Kings 25:13-15 says, "The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars, the movable stands and the bronze Sea that were at the temple of the Lord and they carried the bronze to Babylon. In the eighteenth year of his reign, King Josiah of Judah ordered the caretakers of the Ark of the Covenant to return it to the temple in Jerusalem ( 2 Chronicles 35:1-6; cf. 2 Kings 23:21-23 ). That is the last time the ark’s location is mentioned in the Scriptures. In Revelation 11:19 Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within His temple was seen The Ark of His Covenant. God keep safe the Covenant Box in Heaven. That is how important the Ten Commandments, it is the Word of God, It is the Will of God, The Testament sealed by the Blood of the Lamb JESUS the Great Amen!
