Both speeches were inspiring in their own way. Oliver and Kara fight everyday to make sure that people don't suffer the way that have or lose what they have and these speeches prove that. To the question "Who did it better?" I say the following reasons for each speech: Oliver's speech was about fighting. Fighting for yourself, fighting for the people you love, fighting for people you don't know who need good thoughts, and staying strong in the face of fear and overwhelming odds. Kara's speech was about having hope. Hope that things will be okay, hope that love and faith can overcome people who want to destroy your spirit, and hope that no matter how hard things become that there is a silver lining to the situation. I personally like Arrow's better. Oliver's speech felt natural to me and I felt inspired too and Kara's was sweet and beautiful. Oliver was trying to get people to bind together while Kara was trying to get through people who have been brainwashed and the way she kept saying "hope" felt a little forceful while Oliver's sounded passionate.

You cannot stop a riot with a speech; once people are acting as a mob, they are impervious to reason. On that basis I find the scenario in Arrow implausible, and I have to go with Supergirl's speech.

Dude, the entire show is riddled with moments like this. Recently, in crisis X, they wanted a cool walking together in a single row( in LOT I think). And, you see he nazis charging toward them with guns only to do hand to hand combat in the end. Seasons 1 and 2 did what the story needed. Then, it was a bunch of cool moments thrown together without a cohesive story. Arrow tried to make it's hero to stand next to Flash in terms of the level of threats they face. They brought in magic and shit. They started following the villain of the week routine from flash. You get a new dude for a villain. Dude escapes the first faceoff and some inspirational quote inspires the veteran to stop him with a cool punchline.

In the first and second season, Oliver used to blow away the street thugs.Now,it takes him just as much time to subdue Malcolm Merlyn as it does for some common thug. Arrow, as a show, in some sense have devolved into some common procedural tv series.I am DONE with the show after the team split up. I was OK with splitting up. But,it was implied in the next promo that Oliver is having a hardtime without the team. Oliver, the dude who was murder machine in season 1 (bit exaggerated),the dude who fought a bunch of nazis equipped with not-a-pistol guns, has trouble in the streets. I still remember the scene in season 1 where runs through a private security army when saving Walter. *Sigh*

I really agree with Krisstina Wilson,both are very inspiring.I like Kara's speech but that doesn't mean I hate Oliver's.If you ask people who did better,they will only have one reason to each answer:it actually depends on which one they're falling for,right?For example,if you ask me I would say I like Kara's more just because I'm a Supergirl fan.You should talk about who inspired you more instead of asking who is better. They fight to keep people from struggling,to stop them from suffering.

no me habia dado de cuenta que el final de temporada de ArrowS4 y el de Supergirl S1 son similares en ambos se dan discursos para mantener unida a la gente de Star City y National City, ambos tienen a sus protagonistas en una posición bastante delicada y donde parece que la única forma de acabar con el enemigo es matándolo (Oliver obviamente esta un poco mas predispuesto en matar a Darhk que Kara a Non) y la cereza sobre el pastel ambos matan a sus enemigos (Porque no se vuelve a hablar de Non ni este se vuelve a parar asi que yo intuyo que quedo implícito que Kara lo mato ya que no habia de otra, igual que Oliver a Darhk) honestamente me gusta mas el mensaje de Kara ademas la musica que pone en el discurso de la Chica de Acero me pone siempre los pelos de punta aunque el de Oliver tambien es muy bueno
