This is one of those game changing moments for a show where everything comes together. Everything about this scene is perfect. The cinematography, the score. The acting. This is the first time we've seen Kara be truly brutalized. This is the most vulnerable we've ever seen her and the best hero stories are the heroes who are broken and get back up. I like that everything in this scene is to break her. She is physically broken. Her fight is gone by the end, so she is emotionally broken and to cap it of the sigil on her chest for hope is burned off she is literally hopeless. That dissonant sound when she's falling is so brilliant. Whoever wrote this scene is mighty fine at their job. Its just a case now on whether they follow through and upkeep the tone of this scene

Reign definitely felt Supergirl's punches, but they weren't strong enough to leave any damage while Reign's hits could crack Supergirl apart. Reign is to Supergirl what Supergirl is to humans.

IMO, that was definitely the moment Supergirl 100% realized that she can't take Reign and that she may not win this fight after all. Before then, even after getting headbutted, she seemed somewhat confident in coming out on top, but after smacking her with the parking meter, then seeing her come back with a flaming car door, she's like, "Oh fuck...I might not be able to take this bitch."

This entire fight was the best of all seasons. Hands down. And it isn't the final one, I can't wait to see what will happen xD Regin is my favorite type of antagonist because she is one of those characters that aren't nor evil nor good they simply are. She is just carrying on the purpose for which she was created just like Kara is carrying on the will of her people to protect and help others. I also liked the fact that she erased the symbol of the House of El and to those who are asking themselves why Kara was bleeding is fairly simple, Regin possesses the strength and power to destroy worlds (Just like Doomsday) so it is not so far stretched that she can hit Supergirl so hard to make her bleed.

Because Kara wanted to handle things on her own like always when there is someone who she, rightfully perceive as really strong, although calling her cousin to help would have been an intelligent thing to do. But I think she really didn't think that Regin would be THAT strong or that she could overpower her so easily. Rushing into a fight with a fellow Kryptonian (modified) without knowing any details about her. 3. Turning her back to Reign for that long to tell the girl to get back. The fucking girl shouldn't even need to be told to get back. Why TF would she even come NEAR these monsters that are brawling in the street? Regin is not a supervillain, she is a weapon created to bestow what her creators thought was justice, she is neither evil nor good she simply is.
