Peter’s first letter calls its readers to a living hope while encouraging them to steward their suffering and orient their lives around future glory.

Orient our live around a future Glory. After reading Imagine Heaven by John Burke, I caught a glimpse of Heaven, And here Matt is talking about the same thing. So often we complain about our life experience as a reason To not fully commit to God. Yet in humbleness if we can ask Jesus to enter into our experience, then He will radically change our lives. Jesus prayed thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thus we need to ask Jesus what Heaven is like. Push earths lies out, and bring Heavens truth in.

Got worried by the thumb nail for a second - looked like Matt was banging out a salute! On a serious note - the biggest Hope we have, in ridding the world of white supremacy, are guys like Matt Chandler. Unashamed to preach the gospel, of racial and gender equality. Thank you Matt ✊🏾 ⛪️

I am surrounded with people who see me as crazy, ignorant, naive because of my faith in Christ. The fact I don’t go along to get along. I honestly sometimes I feel I am an outsider. Faith hope prayer is the only way that I know I am God son.

Fantastic message, this brought me to tears as I am currently in the toughest season I’ve ever gone through 🙏🏼 Lord Jesus, bless the hurting and broken people who hear this message that have felt like giving up. Restore their hope and peace, reminding them that those things are found in endless supply with You as our Lord. Reconcile those far from You to Yourself and may our lives be used to proclaim glory and honor to Your holy Name. Our troubles are momentary, but our Lord God is eternal. Thank You for being everything we could ever want and need! We love you Lord! 🙏🏼💟
