So it looks like I need to buy a 5mm adaptor for the funnel at the lever end as well as a 5mm adaptor for the syringe end at the caliper? Is that right?

These are by far the best brakes I've used. However, they're a pain to set up, a pain to service and the pistons frequently get to a point where they don't retract properly. If you're a keen home mechanic they're a good choice but they're not fit and forget that's for sure.

They don't mention it in the video, but be very careful when tightening the lever bleed screw, if you overtighten it , it'll bind and virtually lock itself into place. If you then try removing it with a normal hex key, you'll probably round it out,if you use a Wera hex-plus (like in the video), you may be lucky, and avoid having to butcher it

Yes the standard Shimano hose will work fine.

Yep, you're right. I bought a kit with a syringe with the threaded end (make sure it is the Shimano kit)

These calipers doesn't give the extra brake rotor clearance that cyclists are asking for swapping form shimano or sram to a third party brand.

@@FUBuddy You need a 5mm threaded attachment to the syringe - you can find lots on Amazon or eBay very cheap. Shimano bleed kits I believe are 4mm, while SRAM is 5mm. In the video, it looks like they are using a RockShox Reverb bleed kit (the seat post also uses mineral oil). I'd be careful not to directly use a regular SRAM bleed kit since they are DOT fluid instead of mineral oil. Hope that helps.
