Hope The Boxer's Morning Routine

Every morning we like to take the dogs for a nice big run in the open paddock to stretch their legs and get nice and warmed up for the day. I just love this POV angle, showing the morning routine from Hope's perspective. Hope's journey is still in the early chapters, but to look back on where she was when she first arrived atTthe Farm, and compare it to this vision from today? Wow! It's just so encouraging to see how much enjoyment she gets running with the big pack.

Beautiful Hope. She was so broken. It's inspiring to see how far she has come from the days she could barely lift her head and tail from terror, but seeing her today running joyfully along side the bike, happily accepting the kisses and cuddles from Luke and Sam, and now pats from outsiders is an amazing breakthrough for this little darling all thanks to her caring loving family. ❤❤

The bike runs have been a wonderful thing for Hope, even at the start she seemed to be able to just lose herself in running. Now she is showing confidence and she is definitely one of the pack. Looking at her ears bobbing along is so cute. And look at her accepting smoochies from Luke. Hooray. 💜

I had been hoping and praying for that moment where she gave back to Sam for all those tender moments Sam has doled out to her. It just touched my soul so deeply. She has found her place of acceptance with humans who treasure her and she is free to give that love and acceptance back to them. I wasn’t sure the day would ever come with how wounded she was. Wounds to her soul which is finally free to be the dog she was meant to be. What a joyous event, and now smooches for Luke. How wonderful when the smooches came and were reciprocated with Chris too. Oh my heart can barely handle it all.♥️♥️

Wow. These body cam videos are great. I didn’t think I’d enjoy them but they’re fab. This one showed me how sassy Hope really is - weaving through the other dogs to get to where she wants. It’s a whole other angle, and especially pleasing considering how shut down she was when she first came to the farm as a foster.

Wow, look at Hope race through the gate to the paddock. Remember the former Hope who would pancake on the ground and be the last through the gate needing major encouragement? No more! Look at her accepting face squishiest from Luke and giving him kisses in return. Her transformation is incredible. What a transformation in Hope! Will never forget that first day all she would do is cower and pancake on the ground. Once she and Faith were off-lead, they took off running and playing. Who could imagine Hope would come this far? WE could! We knew the focus she was given by Luke and Sam would transform that beautiful girl. It is so wonderful to see! Watching Hope from the beginning of her journey to now just warms my heart. Watching Chance go from a dog with no possibility’s of a life to being adopted is beyond amazing. Here are two dogs coming from completely different places, which looked impossible to help. Luke your style of training is amazing to watch. Each dog is given just what is needed. You should be so proud of the work you do.

The great thing about the bike runs for Hope was that it didn't put any pressure on her from you as you were always moving away from her, then obviously it bought out the natural prey drive to chase, then thirdly to release good endorphins to feel good and more relaxed. The Farm has the whole package for dogs with all different issues, the pack ,the space all wrapped up with fabulous people willing and capable to meet all their needs. Magic and love on top ❤

Wow. I was blown away by all sorts of feelings as I watched this video. I felt my heart wrenches to imagine from Hope's view, the fear she went through with Faith, what and how she was watching the world and people around her from her eye level.. It breaks my heart but watching Hope having great time running using her body to the fullest surrounded by all her friends she can trust, I see it as she left her past behind. Oh my goodness what you at the Farm Luke and Sam have done for darling Hope is just amazing. The sight of Hope and Faith when they arrived at the Farm broke my heart and made me cry so much to think of what they had been through to make them so very frightened. Wow, it’s hard to believe that’s the same dog who was so completely shut down, scared and submissive. Her body language has completely changed from tail tucked between her legs, no eye contact and totally disengaged; to tail up with a huge smile on her face, and total engagement with lots of eye contact.
