Watching this video had given me an immense amount of support and hope for the future treatments of depression. I finally got help this last month. I was so stubborn thinking I can fight this illness on my own with excersize and meditation. For me it wasnt enough and I encourage anyone here that suffers from depression to go SEEK HELP. You can get better and there is always a light. You have to fight for that light.

1. there is nothing in this video that gives hope 2. you think so highly of yourself and are so positive I doubt you are anything but a young roleplaying bundle of sticks. 3. big pharma is more interested in making addictive drugs that do nothing

Without good health insurance, people are left suffering and dying. TMS and Sparvato have saved me but looking at the bills and knowing that many people do not have insurance is absolutely pathetic and enraging.

When you have depression but, no Health insurance, what do you do in Texas?

Very interesting to although it would be necessary to see if the mechanism that you propose of the reward, does not return them to the psychological redundancy and maybe you arrive at the same point in a different way falling in the depression. Muy interesante a aunque habría que ver si el mecanismo que propones de la recompensa, no los devuelve a la redundancia psicológica y talves se llegue al mismo punto de una forma distinta recayendo en la depresión.

When you are hopeless, there is hope. If you’ve haven’t read the gospel in awhile, read the Bible starting with John. Jesus knows your pain and he has the answers that give life meaning and hope.

Why??
@Joaquinho5 жыл бұрын
@@yoimono_san too many reasons. For example: if you don't go to school you won't be anything at all when growing up. Or, I also felt in love with someone who I don't even talk. So with that relationship there's nothing to gain and I'm just getting only bad feelings. I can't do anything. Im like in prision.

Ms Craske is calling for an ending of stigma around depression and presumably other mental health afflictions by reference to cancer analogy, but everyone knows that cancer is a biological disease and therefore social sympathy is unequivocally forthcoming for the sufferers. On the other hand, mental illness/disorder doesn’t have any clear biological causes and appears more akin to breakdowns in thinking processes which are existential in nature and therefore socially referenced problems that are observed by irrational behaviour or thoughts. So the basis for stigma is comparing the subject person with the so-called normal control - a fictitious benchmark established by experts like the presenter and picked up by the rest of society. So the issue comes down to different thinking patterns that are concreted into the respective memory banks of the observer and the observed and consequently resistant to change, even with the assistance of professionals. So forget the ideas about ‘hope’ because psychological time (hope) won’t fix the stigma question. That’s the facts as I see it.
