Revelations? That book is filled with such terrifying imagery, it’d have to be rated R or NC-17. Luckily, Mel Gibson is doing a sequel to The Passion that’s supposed to be two films: one of them depicting hell and Revelations.

I love that God is using Dallas. I have been able to relate to so many of the characters. I am so thanks for this show. One thing I love about The Chosen is that they have given Zebedee, the father of John and Big James, a fairly prominent role in the series. I have watched many movies, miniseries and read books about the life of Christ and the only other place where I have seen Zebedee featured at all was in Taylor Caldwell’s book, which is titled “I, Judas.” And while Caldwell didn’t give a reason why Big James and John were given the name The Sons of Thunder, anymore than The Chosen has, both the book and this series most definitely give the distinct impression (in my opinion) that the Thunder was Zebedee. And I also really must say that the casting in this series is brilliant. I know that the actor who is now playing Big James is a recast, but he is beyond amazing-and so is the actor who portrays John. The other set of brothers, Simon (Peter) and Andrew are also awesome, as is Matthew. I also like Simon Z and Gaius, but my favorite character (after the incredible Jonathan Roumie, of course) has got to be (and for all the wrong reasons) the one and only Quintus 😆😲🤯😆🤪😱😆🤪 (And I don’t care if he’s a fictional character, either 😲)

Awe...I love this. I wish they would have played James and John as Jesus cousins since that's the way it's told in the Bible. The only women at the cross was Mary, Jesus mom, Mary of Magdalena and Mary's sister the mother of James and John. It would have explained the reason I'm sure Jesus loved them more... threy grew up together. But still such a fantastic series beyond what I could have ever imagined a show about Jesus would be

Why wouldn't Jesus kneel with Simon when He comes down to our level all the time?! When He came down to our level from heaven? People keep Him at arms length by seeing only the Sovereign God. But Jesus the Man brings His wholeness and His closeness. And that scares people cos He then gets too close. I find it beautiful and exhilarating. I found it difficult when Jesus began kneeling before me in visions/visitations and I quickly knelt too. When I finally voiced my objections He said "That's what Peter said" and I realised He was talking about the foot washing. So yes - humility, love, and divinity are all mixed up together with Him. "Jesus Christ full of grace and truth." That's His kindness and His might in one. 💖💞❤‍🔥

I loved this show until the 3rd season. I have studied the bible for over 40 years and go to the Greek for more insight. I saw a huge mistake that was very disturbing to me. I never watched again. I wish it would have been accurate. I actually loved some of the artistic license, but it has to line up with the bible. With the different religious groups involved who we know have inconsistencies in their doctrine, it makes me even more leery. Too bad.
