i had a Belgian shepherd that figured out that if he went outside when it was raining, and got wet, he would get a nice towel rub when he came in. as soon as he was dry he would want to go out again. the harder it was raining, the less time he would be out! he figured out that the spot where the rain dripped off the awning was the best place to get the wettest the fastest. i hate being outsmarted by my pets.

I agree, pits are not bad dogs. Every dog deserves to be loved. And when they are raised right, they can be the most gentle, well behaved pets. I still believe that pit bulls were inbred for specific traits and tendencies. And you can breed for a higher aggression potential. Not all pits will be born with high aggression, some may just have high energy, or lack all of it entirely. Having a pitty mix can lessen it (this dog looks like a staffy mix or some other mix). But most pure pits have the aggressive tendencies, and it shows in fatality statistics. The problem isn't size. I rarely hear of Great Danes, Irish Wolf Hounds, or Bull mastiffs killing their owners. And they are massive dogs. I truly love pit bulls, they are beautiful, sweet dogs. but I think people need to own a license to have a pure pit bull breed, to make sure they are well informed and physically capable of training and properly caring for the dog's needs.

Blanket beliefs and blanket statements don’t work. What you imply is dangerously naive. Breeding is ALWAYS a factor. I adopted an Australian Shepherd who couldn’t stop shepherding. So all the neighborhood kids got knocked down on a regular basis when they came over to play. If they ran in the backyard, she herded them up. Pit bulls have long history of breeding that can (or cannot) come through. You can see it in puppyhood. If you have to train your pitbull pup to not be aggressive, it’s a dangerous situation. Training cannot remove the instinct they were born with, from decades or centuries ago. If they are born non-aggressive, you’ve got a very good chance of them being a beautiful family member. Please be realistic.

There was a miraculous rescue just recently, of 200 dogs and cats that were rescued out of Kabul, Afghanistan. Through donations this man named Pen Farthing who ran an animal shelter in Kabul, was able to get a charter plane which flew him and 200 animals OUT of the war zone and into the UK! All 200 animals are in quarantine right now. All of these animals, also, have loving homes to go to after the 4 month quarantine! This man is a HERO!

How many men, women, and children did he save?
@AsIseeitPattiDail3 жыл бұрын
@@s.e.e455 We're only talking about animal rescues here! His animals all went into the cargo hold of the plane. A place where NO humans can be! He tried to fill his plane with people. He tried to rescue his staff and 180 other afghans needing to get out who had permission to go to the UK! It was either the Taliban or the American government that prevented Pen Farthing from evacuating humans with children out of there! So, Pen Farthing offered free evacuations to 180 people, and the powers that be said NO! So, don't blame Pen Farthing. He did everything he could to get refugees on his privately funded plane! So, wake up and congratulate him on rescuing 200 animals from a WAR ZONE! Hope for Paws is great, but, they can't claim to have rescued 200 animals from a damn WAR ZONE! Hurray for Pen Farthing! What a sweet, gorgeous girl! Oh how I wish I could be her forever home. I love how she was rolling on Katie for more lovin'. It was so sweet how she was so happy and wagging at the vet's. I also love that great big smile while getting her bath. Whoever gets her will have a great companion! They just want to love and be loved, like so many of us.

"They don't trust you 'til they trust you" is absolutely correct! It may have taken the man longer to be able to pet her simply because he was a man. Oxana must have been loved by a blonde before he was a stray💓

Same with my cat. I was trying to touch her for 1month and then she was on my lap purring

@@talliafierro7541 eldad himself has said that sometimes is easier to touch a dog a woman because the dog is misstreated often by a man. Thats why when he goes out with loretta she is the one who aproach the dogs most of the time and eldad waits. You can see him say that a couple of videos ago.

@@talliafierro7541 yes of course. But it has to do with being a man; is more possible for a dog to be scared of you. Bye!

Is there a liability issue with allowing the person to put the leash on the dog? Seems like that would have been an easier solution since the dog already trusted them. Maybe they tried that but just didn't capture it on video?

I was wondering 🤔 the same thing.

I think it would be easier in the long run if she trusted them because they need to get her checked and washed up so if she didnt it would make doing that harder.

I think he could have, but in the long run keeping her on leash until the day they could get there would have just been more stress. It looks like she was in a fenced area.

@@jessz7428 I meant right in that moment, when the person went up to the dog and gave it belly scratches.
