After watching these videos, I went out to a humane society about an hour away and rescued an older dog that was abandoned by his owners on the side of a road. He had been living ar the humane society for the past several months (thankfully they weren't high kill). I didn't do any browsing online for any dogs- I just went there. They only had about 10 some dogs, but one of those was my baby. He was really shy at first and didn't go near me but I rescued him anyways (:p). The day I brought him home was a very happy day for the both of us. It's been several weeks and we are both pretty much in sync. At first I did have some doubts and anxiety about having a dog, but now I don't know what I'd do without him. Please, go rescue a dog. Don't just pick them out on their looks or immediate personality. They will change your life for the better. I promise :)

They don't generally get delivered dogs, they get dogs from high kill shelters that can't keep them anymore. My dog, who's name is Pippy, was picked up by animal control, brought to a killing shelter, and then given to RAL. She was only there for one day, but we didn't think she would be adopted by anyone. Because of her breed and eye condition, (called cherry eye) we didn't think most other people would want her. So we brought her home. She has been happy with us for about a month now. I encourage people to not pick out dogs for their looks, or the type of breed they are. I think it's their personality that should matter.

Sweet but also tough....so bad bloodline or being mistreated can breed a dangerous animal....Real game pits are definitely dangerous af...They will cry being held back from a fight because it's in there blood to kill...Pain is almost a drug to them yet a real pitbull is a big strong baby...originally used to protect babies because of how strong its loyalty to the family and being able to handle pain good....Plus short fur to handle babys pulling.
