Just to share a funny story. Long time ago, my friends and me, went for a fishing trip in Trengganu. The boatman told us the sea may get rough later but we told him that we were seasoned sea goers and we also have seasick pills as a backup. So off we went in the evening and started fishing for some time. Soon the sea got rough, we decided to head back to shore and it got real rough. So, we took the seasick pills on the way back. When we landed, we went straight to a restaurant to cook the fish we caught, for dinner. Then, the seasick pill kicked in, we got drowsy, so sleepy that we didn't know what we ate that night. But it was huge fun...Hahaha. Love Trengganu!!!

Monsoon season will start in Nov to Feb I think. You may want to check if there is any boat going there.

December is a monsoon month with heavy rains and winds and dangerous waves. The boat operators stop operating,all islands are off bound. So you might want to tweak your island itinerary.

Well done, Steve, you are more steady and well prepared in Candat Sotong 2.0 compared to Candat Sotong 1.0. Too bad that luck was not on your side....no sotong at all. I have a good laugh when you asked lvana to show us the size of the squid that you would catch and probably you could catch 20-25 sotongs...😂😄🤓 Pulau Kapas is a beautiful island indeed and that 3rd hat looked nice on you, lvana...good choice. I succeeded on my 3rd attempt of candat sotong.. but it's worth a try.. normally when you go with common fisherman tekong.. they will move around until they find the unjam site.. we stayed until sunrise just to see it view from the sea. All those good memories 🤩

You need 'pisang emas' (ladyfinger banana) when you in the boat, this specifically pisang emas can help you to handle your sea sickness.. next time please remember to get pisang emas before you jump in to sea boat..
