Her teams will be monopyro but instead of xl u put emilie (airfryer) and the only preexisting burn team ganyu burn melt where u put emilie instead of nahida. She allows the carries in her teams to wield unfinished reverie which is a pretty insane set and idk if she deals more dmg than xl but im just rlly sad that she buffs only herself and not the burning reaction as a whole like nilou or chevruse

We still need to wait and see her turret's hit interval and aoe, if she has good aoe dendro application then she is still a decent pick for nilou team (just for the dendro app) and amazing for burgeon team

I feel like she could be good on Leyney Team maybe applying Burning and keeping that Pyro Aura on the enemy while doing good sub dps dmg , but i don't know how i feel about her

Burning reaction ia fine. But enemies with innate element applied to themselves just ruin it. The tulpa for example. You can't burn it because it's permanently applied by hydro

Im suprised to know she's 5 star lol. She looks mid af, but maybe she can be nilou for burning, which is kinda cool i guess. I wont play boring shit likw that tho, but some people would love these type of ultra niches unit in the game.

As someone that has substantially more pyro 5-star characters, I really need someone like Emilie. But yeah, for most people she's going to be unusable and hard to fit in.

I don't mind his restriction, I mean, we have Nilou who is niche, but that niche is really good. And it's simple, if you want to play other dendro reactions? take out nahida, no... not even that, play the dendro traveler and save the protogems

Dendro traveler's burst explodes upon contact on pyro though, so it's not really a good alternative for Emilie.

Its still to early to be shure of anything but for the time we can see her like a dendro fischl for burning. So she looks great with any pyro character. The video is whining about how restrictive she is but I find it very missleading because of how many of them we have

I mean If she is really good enough for a burning team then who cares about quicken teams with her.....We already have Nahida and Baizhu for that... right? Again If she has Nilou lvl power than who cares if she isn't playable on any other teams...!!!

She could be amazing character if her exploration passive wouldn't exist. Regardless of scales, ability to reliably apply dendro could make her incredible character. But now... On my account I can see exactly 0 cases where she will make team noticeably stronger... That's just sad

5:20 Burning based teams have already been established since 3.0. They are: - Burn Melt - Burn Vape The problem with these archetypes is that the only one dealing damage is the Cryo/Hydro. Our current Pyro/Dendro characters pretty much deal no damage in these teams (even worse than Physical Sub-DPS). Even if you include the Burning itself, the damage is still very low. Not to mention that the more you invest into EM, the more likely it will backfire & kill your team instead. If you want an actual Burning team, there's also the funny Quadratic Scaling with Venti, but it only works if you can group the enemies. However, Emilie's kit doesn't seem to be meant for this sort of team.

Ok, I've heard about burn melt with cocogoat and whriostley (or how his name should be spelled). But burn Vape? Can you give some examples that wouldn't be just a failed burgeon?

@@stannumowl Neuvillette + Nahida + Xiangling is the most popular. It also works with Furina/Yelan & Ayato to some extent.

@@AevyCh so at the first case you suggest to use Xiangling + burn to limit your Neuvi's range and rely on not very stable pyro. And at the second is double hydro which for some reason try to vape + limiting you to C0 or C1 Yelan? Are you sure that those teams wouldn't work better without burn?

@@stannumowl It is Neuvilette's highest damage team, but you'll have to deal with its drawbacks. As for Yelan, yeah... her C2 ruins it. It'll just be a normal Burgeon team at that point. The concept is there, but damage is still lacking compared to other teams (aside from Neuvilette). I just hope that Emilie will fix this issue with her own damage.

@@AevyCh hmm... Ok, I got it. there are doubts that if you take Neuvi, high EM Raiden, Nahida and Furina team they will have similar damage with much less drawbacks. But I don't have Neuvi to actually test it. So, I'll give it to you. Extremely high damage team for character who has a lot of high damage teams

You literally have a burn-melt team in your video, and you say she has no teams? Not saying she's amazing or anything, and the calcs I saw put her at Chiori level damage, which is alright, but she does have teams she's good in, like the burn-melt team in your video and mono-pyro. She's not worth a pull unless you like her design a lot though. Nahida does her job just fine. I don't often use 2 dendro teams in the abyss anyway, so I'll prob skip unless she gets some kind of team buff that lets her boost Ganyu's damage more than Nahida does already. She really is essentially burning Chiori. Only way I see her being more than that is if they release a character that buffs the burning reaction itself, because the 85% self-damage reduction would be useful in that case.

The reason I said that she doesnt really have any teams is because burnmelt isn't really that good of a team. burnmelt ganyu with emilie will lose to burning arlecchino haha
