I'm so tired of people using the concept art as the why people don't like Emilie's design, this just isn't the case for many of us. Her design is simply a mess. I knew nothing about her previous concepts until people began bringing it up after her drip marketing announcement. I genuinely thought she was an OC. The colour palette is fine, albeit quite unappealing, but the entire outfit is just awful. Far too clashed together borrowing a Liyue body suit and Sumeru's angled accents. In fact, you can get this same effect by changing Layla's outfit to green to better understand why people compared her to Lisa's Sumeru outfit. Nothing about her design screams Fontaine like previous characters whose designs are more modern. A very fantasy 1910-1930s turn of the century feel to their look. Not even a colour swap does it justice, so the argument of "it's just the green" is not valid. Emilie has a poorly fit design for her region. Simple as that. Signed, a character concept artist.

She doesnt boost the burning reaction. Burning will just boost her personal dmg. Many are confused about this. That's why she's not EM scaling.

I plan to use her on my Hu Tao burgeon team. Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Emilie, and Kirara. Currently using Nahida but it causes issues when I have other teams that need Nahida too. Also I love niche teams like my Nilou bloom and Chevreuse overload teams

Yeah I have issue with every part of her being -why does she look like a Librarian -she doesn't look like a perfumer or anything -the hair, the clothes everything is not on point -and you expect her kit to be like a perfume caught on fire cuz she has a burning niche but no... -her burst is just like a Dendro Navia burst, they could've gon for something like swirling scents following her, something like Tamayo's blood demon art in demon slayer -why does her thing (lamp) look like an incense

To me Emilie is boring. All she does is damage. I want a dendro character fit for Gabyu melt, though I know HYO will never do anything for Ganyu. Thats why I can give all the money HYO could get to WuWa. Peace 😊

@@M0har1b It would take only one tick of interuption resistance in Emilie's kit to make it work. But HYO will not do it since only Wriothsley is allowed to have a good melt team. In theory the raction sysem is open to interpretate, but in practice charcters are very restrictive. That's how it rolls in this game.
