Man, most people look upon this music negatively. I’ll be honest. I spent 4 years in prison. I deserved it, I broke the law and had to pay. My life was shit. Every day was worse than the one before. Didn’t seem like it was ever going to get better. One day I made a friend. Eventually he let me borrow his MP3 player ( yes you can legally get these in prison, at least in Oklahoma). Anyways, this song was on his list. I’ve always loved old A7X. I layed on my bunk and almost had a nervous breakdown from how this song made me feel. The dueling guitars alone make me feel like life is worth living just to hear them. Thanks guys from getting me thru the hardest part of my life. Love you guys and hope you never quit making music for the “disowned” in life.

My dad spent 6,5 yrs in mornaguia prison in tunisia. Ha had done nothing illegal, he got beaten, he got 1 glass of dirty water and piece of bread per day. He went to tunisia because of 3 norwegian girls that have been kidnapped (we lived in norway) and he traveld to tunisia and he got 2/3 girls home. And he went to get another girls but he called a friend to help him. Then they gave up, and went to their hotelroom. Dad skyped with mom when they suddently heard a click and then 20 police officers stormed into the room with guns and shit and arrested them. Later they got in court and they were imprisoned for child kidnapping and human trafficking, so dad (per åke helgesson) got 13 yrs and his friend (Daniel) got 6 yrs. They were pronouced innocent two times but the tunisian police payed money to get them back to prison, just being big fucking assholes. theywere arrested in i think like 15 of november 2012 and pelle (dad) getting out in 2019 and daniel in 2016.

A lot of people criticize the direction A7x took after the Rev's passing. But people forget that Jimmy was arguably the band's heart along with M. Shadows. The subsequent albums each have some tracks that score a 10 because those sound more like WTF and COE They’ve changed the MAGIC FORMULA of those 2 aforementioned albums when they should have stuck with it because it works BETTER 👌❤️

no lots of people like this style, but the guys at a7x didnt want to make them anymore.

They want to move forward not backwards. Matts voice would have died by now if they kept doing this too.

Hoshi Hearts they want to make each album unique in its own way they said its pointless to have two album sound to much alike then there's no diversity. no skill

@izabelesoares970510 жыл бұрын
well, i play guitar and i can tell u that wat Gates does is the same shit, but he plays in a different way ! Matt is a good vocalist but i still think Gates is the "heart" of A7X

Izabele Soares the james died, but who created the band he was, all members have an essential role in the band, synyster say that it is very important but as all members but who is the heart of the band is and always will be the same as Rev he's dead .. and we know because it will always be
@giovanagomes272210 жыл бұрын

People hate this band because it was the best. Imagine having Zacky, Syn, The Fucking rev, Johnny and Matt. They fucking killed it. Like fuck I wonder how much fun jamming was. Coming up with cool sounds and telling the other dudes what would sound better. This band is one of the best.
@TheKenAmes8 жыл бұрын
The "Reverend" Jimmy Sullivan wrote most of these tracks. He was more than just an incredible drummer. He was a musical genius. Unfortunately, this band will only ever be god with him.

@quiensera99478 жыл бұрын
I believe the band can carry on, especially without Arin and now they have Brook Wackerman. Hail to the King was a pretty bad album. Despite Nightmare and Diamonds in the Rough having songs that still had Jimmy's input, they still had songs without him that were good.

Man I wish A7X would go back to Metalcore! With album #9 being the perfect hybrid between Waking the Fallen and Sounding the seventh Trumpet with influential elements of Hardwired to self Destruct , Slayer's Repentless , Slipknot's H377 , Solway Firth , Vermillion alongside My Plague , Megadeth's Peace Sells plus Public enemy No.1 and Nirvana's Smells like teen Spirit , In Bloom , Come as you Are , and Heart shaped Box

0:21 to 0:41 Don't get me wrong, I love this song, but that harmony sounds like Syn and Zacky were extremely drunk while recording it

@LMC-xz6qh9 жыл бұрын
subKONscious I know they're harmonizing lol I even said it on my comment, but the slow pace of the harmony for some reason makes me think of them both being really drunk and making a lot of mistakes while recording it
@yzf8 жыл бұрын
+xHeavenHelpUsAll7771x You will actually find quite a few things that may sound 'wrong' for a casual listener in their older stuff.
@LMC-xz6qh8 жыл бұрын
Ayyuf Maybe. I'm not a casual listener tho. I'm a huge A7X fan, and I also listen to many bands in the same genre, it's just that there's some stuff I don't like, like this harmony, or the solo to And All Things Will End, or the purposedly fucked up harmony on the Demo of IWSYT part 2. Still love the band anyways, but WTF is my least favourite because of that little weird moments
@TomWhaley6218 жыл бұрын
+xHeavenHelpUsAll7771x they aren't making mistakes. It's stylistically sluggish and dissonant sounding.
