Syn is a monster. But not because he's fast. He's great because he can put so much feel in any solo, and his work is so simple yet so complex at the same time.

In 2002 he started replacing screamed lines for vocal melodies, and had begun adding singing more and more, even on parts of songs that didn't have vocals at all. He stopped screaming because he felt like it. He didn't even blow out his voice. He only began injuring his throat because he had unhealthy vocal habits, which he fixed during City of Evil. He cut down on unhealthy belts and started gaining more control.

This is the greatest album ever made. You will never see another group of such talented musicians playing at the same time, plus in terms of lyrics they are literally if Eminem was a metal band

"Dark in their hearts, I can feel it burn inside of me Tormented young with no souls, haunting me Pain in their lives all they know is misery" This has a lot of meaning if you decrypt it the right way.

Scrub A Dub I don't think so. If so, that's really dumb because this is like the only album where lyric videos would be useful. I don't see how anyone can understand those screams.

1:14 sounds like it was inspired from pantera - walk
@guitarblazed9 жыл бұрын
Definitely not the walk intro is played 0 0 3 1 0 in a repetetive process this ones played 3 0 0 0 0 3 0 3 0 0 3 0 slide to 6th fret and the 3 to open is pull offs not hammerons and then pull off both are played on the sixth string and same tuning thoughXD
@ExternusArmy9 жыл бұрын

I listen to this album, and every time, all I can do is sit back an think, "how did they come up with this?" It's like magic in it's purest form. It's unbelievable . they are fuckin geniuses . It's a damn shame the rev is gone. We lost a true artist . I weep for the future of music .
