I met Anthony and the rest of Bayside at Warped 2012, he was a really genuine fella. I don't care what the others say, whether I like this Ep or not, I'm backing him 100 percent. This song was great for what it was. :)

The chorus of this song really reminds me of something I've heard before. Like the way he's singing. Hell, I just can't put my finger on it. I love bayside and Anthonys solo work is different but good. This song is catchy and I like it.

Love this song so much. In regard to the autotune comments, I'm pretty sure the autotune isn't Anthony's voice, because it sounds exactly like Steve Soblasai (from Punchline), who also just happened to have produced and co-wrote this song...

I am going to start with, I dig this song. **Insert obligatory Bayside fan dedication** (I will not mention Bayside anymore because Anthony != Bayside, there are 4 members in Bayside.) The modulation definitely threw me off during the first listen but it's grown on me a lot. I love how the solo EPs are such a drastic change stylistically from what Anthony gets to do normally. It think it shows how much talent Anthony has that he has the ability and desire to switch between genres in his solo music. I hope he keeps on making music that challenges what people define as "Anthony Raneri's" style. Listening to his interviews reveals that he enjoys a wide array of music and wants to create music in those genres. I say more power to him!

Andrew Eaves Totally agree with you. After a few listens the modulation seems to fit right in and the song has definitely grown on me. Also after the second listen you could tell it's not Anthony singing in that part. Enjoy seeing him try these new things: if people bitch on KZbin about it then I'm all for it. Even if it's something I might not like, it's still worth experiencing it.

There's a huge difference between auto tune and pitch correction to all you people, literally almost all artists use it nowadays, it's just to make sure notes are 100% on point, and it definitely doesn't measure how talented a singer is and it doesn't make someone a "sell out"

just a note to everybody bitching about it. pitch modulation DOES NOT hide a lack of talent. it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to hide poor vocal technique. it does just what the name implies..... PITCH MODULATION. its no different than using a wah or octave pedal on a guitar.

The part with the voice that is auto tuned is actually Steve from Punchline, so Anthony actually didn't auto tune his voice :-)

Ya, Anthonys voice isn't auto tuned. His "amazing and powerful voice" is the exact same as every other song. So if you loved this song for "everything else" but his voice, you might have to consider the fact you don't like his voice haha.

Anyone that thinks this sounds like Objectivist On Fire is absolutely nuts lol....not even close in any way.Anyways I like the song a lot...anybody who read the interview about the song knew what it would sound like. Steve Soboslai has a style similar to this in some of his songs. The autotune was done right. People only hate autotune because of what modern pop artists have done with autotune...which is overuse it in songs because they don't have good singing voices. Anthony & Steve didn't overuse it or use it improperly...so take the ignorance out of your asses & appreciate it for what it is...you don't have to like it, but to say "I turned it off when I heard the autotune." & completely write it off like that is bullshit. It's a solid Anthony Raneri song I think..he can do any genre I say. Don't get me wrong, it's not my favorite Raneri song, but it's also not my least favorite.

The vocal melodies are almost identical. I'm not gunna rag on this song but if you don't think they sound similar then you have some type of bias. Same timing same rise and fall between notes just in a different register with a different timbre.

Anthony's done. He's happily married and has money. There's nothing left to inspire him, except Taylor Swift apparently. This song isn't about anything or anyone, and he's been out of touch for a while now. This really really drives the point home though. He'll be on the radio soon, pop country station probably.
