What's rare about this music, is it always has and always will, feel like home. Often we go through life and certain music feels good in one stage, nostalgic in another. Sometimes you forget that you used to feel one way when listening and that part of you is long and gone. Not with them, though. OMAM was one of the first albums I ever downloaded. I've never been a "superfan," never went to a concert, even . But they feel like absolute home. They've carried me with good feelings through Chicago high-rise living, SoCal surf lifestyle, and small midwestern suburb mamahood where I've rediscovered my deep connection with nature. A rare league of musicians.

You saying. ....home.... as I sit at home hearing this for the first time, I couldn't agree with you more. It's lonely today here for sure. Even still, home is one of thr best feelings in the world. Can turn life down low don't feel like your imposing on your friends that bless their hearts give you shelter from your storms. It rains more in my world and they know😊 it. They either love me or put up m with me. The gift of that kindne 18:43 ss is so mething that I can't explain or even comprehend. It feels like a miracle when it happens, if that's what a miracle feels like. Anyhow, home in of itself is refuge for your balls. after you've been kicked in the nuts. Can shut the door on bad vibes here too. ❤

High school memories ... Life was so much more simpler back then - sports, friends and most of the responsibilities were good grades in school and that's mostly it. Everything else had been taken care of by the parents. Now after a few funerals, finished uni, work, life is still beautiful, but it just doesn't have that charm that it had when you were either a kid or adolescent - that feeling of foreverness and safety. Oh well, at least I can be grateful to had the chance to experience it and to have this nostalgic feeling for 'the good old days', some unfortunately don't even have that. Strangers of the internet, enjoy your life and be happy! Hope you are doing fine! Kind regards, J

@ofmonstersandmen Your music is timeless. I remember discovering "Little Talks" for the first time when is was around 15 years old, and went through difficult times - but I overcame them every single time "King and Lionheart". You're the inspiration we started our band. Because of the timeless lyrics and authentic music that speaks to the soul - through every decennia that leads us to a new path, sadly not always with green feet, but more with "Dirty Paws." The seed of inspiration is still young. But it will grow, with love, friendship, our passions and interests and...time. "Slow and steady" You are an example. And we are rediscovering your music every single time. Thank you, to lead us our way "Moutain sound". You are our inspiration. “We rise, only when necessary. As artists, healers, musicians, lovers, friends are united. No matter who we are. We love.” (c) moonatnoonsunatrun "Love Love Love"

Its been 10 years since I discovered your music. I was a child back then. This brings back sweet memories from childhood and of a concert of yours in 2016

The realisation that I've been listening to my head is an animal for ten years is very moving, the magic of this album is still not lost on me even after all this time, it is truly one of my favourites albums of all time. All I can say is thank you of monsters and men, listening to this session is like visiting an old close friend that I will always cherish and appreciate and I'm so thankful this album exists so beautifully.

My favorite thing about this band is that every time I discovered a new live version I hadn’t heard it’s a completely unique experience to every other live version I listened to - even tho they’re the same songs they’re able to bring a whole new vibe to them

Back in 2015, me and my ex sang a slow-downed "Little Talks" in a duet in front of our class, the tempo was similar and just reminded me of the good old days. Really enjoyed singing and listening to it without knowing the lyrics was so sad.

So a little different perspective from others on here for me. These tracks were playing during a really great time in my life and the nostalgia hearing it 10 years later is pure bliss. Hearing the first note of dirty paws brings me back to hearing it on vinyl and it always. slapped. Great band, great times. Much love.

Of Monsters and Men, Sigur Ros, Florence and the Machine, The Lumineers, Mumford and Son, Of Mice and Men... 2010's alt-indie-folk rock is underrated.
