The Roman soldiers would have to explain why they ran to the Jewish leaders and not their own leaders when Christ rose, why the Sanhedrin leaders and not Roman hierarchy ? Mr Finley, you so elloquently described the virtue of Christian ethics and the ability to focus on others rather than one's own self even at times when experiencing pain and sorrow through no fault of your own. But I have to be completly honest, I find it puzzling that many times what people say and promote and what they actually do ( think GC Conference) are two different things. I am mentioning this because I feel compelled to let you know how disappointed I am at the treatment that was meeted out toward two of the most beloved pastors in the SDA system. In hindsight it is so obvious that pastors Conrad Vine and Ron Kelly were unjustly scorned by the General Conference of the SDA orgaization. I am sorry to say, that would include Ted Wilson, Mr Michiff, and you as well. C Vine was the first to be called out by the SDA Conference, then soon to follow would be R Kelly as you of course already know. What I would like to know, is what did they do to deserve reprimanding? Let's be clear, there is a time and place for everything. God allowed the SDA GC to be created in order to better serve His purposes and in most aspects has done just that, however, it seems to me that somewhere along the way they (General Conference) have forgotten why they were created in the first place. They no longer display the sweet aroma of the character of God, but have replaced it with a cold, matter of fact, worldly business like company structure with a boss who carries a big stick, and will not hesitate to use it. The GC needs to do some soul searching and return to the virtue of practicing humility. They also need to understand that they are a part of the world wide body of Christ and accept that they are not the "end all be all" solution to the church's plan to move ahead into the future. Pastor Finley talked about the "Ship" that will carry the church through to the end as if the "Ship" was synonymous with the one and only SDA Conference and it's hierarchy. He warns his listeners to stay on board the ("Ship") and "don't jump "Ship" he says, probably in reference to Conrad Vine, who has decided to so couragously, call out the corruption at the highest level within the SDA church. Pastor Vine is a Godly man and carries an enormous amount of clout and influence in the SDA Church. Mark Finley's rhetoric couldn't be further from the truth. God has many "Ships" (the Holy Spirit) all over the world to safely navigate his people into safe harbor. Just as God has many parts of His body ( the church) working in harmony all over the globe and is not dependent on one specific conference's opinions or guidence. And to assume any different is pure fallacy. Where ever two or three are gathered in His name, His Holy Spirit ("Ship") will be there to guide them into safe harbor, no matter where they are on the surface of the earth and will not depend on the guidence of the North American head of the SDA General Conference, besides, how could they, The GC cannot be in every place at the same time. That is the role of God's Holy Spirit. Let's talk "money" for a moment. Too many to count Sda church members were thrown under the "bus" not long ago during the covid crisis by the President of the SDA Conference. The SDA president, with his high position and influence was successful in using his Bully style tactics to dissuade the vote that was necessary to pass and would have allowed Sda church members all over the country to secure from their pastors a "letter of exemption" which would have allowed them to forego the covid vaccine and still be able to work without the worry of retribution, especially since it was perfectly legal and would not have violated any of God's priciples. Companies and Government institutions were strickly carrying out the covid mandate. "No vaccine--- No Job. The only way to get around it was to get a "letter of exemption" from their local SDA pastor. Many, who felt that there was no way out, succombed to the vaccine mandate in order to eat and pay their bills, even though it was against their will, and strongarmed them to violate their "Libery of Conscience" while many others chose to suffer the consequences of no employment and no income. And suffer they did! many lost their homes, cars, and healthcare insurance. They often went hungry for long periods of time, suffered from the lack of heat in the winter and lack of fresh, cool aiir in the summer. It was a miserable existance. All this could have easily been avoided if only their church leaders would have said "yes, to their flock and had given those "letters of exemption to them. The question now remains: Why did the SDA president allow this to happened? Now listen, it's important to remember that The US government was pro vaccine and stood ready to stricktly enforce it's covid mandate. It's equally as important to remember that the SDA General Conference received money from the US government during this crisis which according to many sources is no secret. The SDA Conference churches amoung countless other churches across the country save a lot of money by taking advantage of a US government provision which is totally legal called a 501C3 'EXEMPTION STATUS, which allow any church in the US to avoid paying taxes to the US government. What a sweet deal. Who wouldn't want a set up like that. Now back to the Question: Why would the SDA General Conference leaders try their best to minimize the possibility of it's members getting a "Letter of Exemption? I'll tell you why, It is because they are "tied to the hip" of Ceaser, excuse me I mean the US Government. The US Government is simply dangling a corrot instead of a stick in front of the church to maintain cooperation and control in case it ever needs it, which makes perfect since. The US government is not really that generous unless they want something in return, and the something that they want in return is loyalty. The SDA GC church will by no means "Rock the Boat" and allow anything to upset their relationship to the Government. They, the SDA General Conference leaders know that at any time and probably without notice, the Government has the power to take away their "TAX EXEMPT STATUS" just because they can. I think it is shameful that the SDAGC would put their selfish ambition above their flock. God help them if enough people wake up and realize that this organization may not have their best interest at heart. If they do, then you will see thithes and offerings being redirected at a pace never seen before. Some are already doing this and, there is talk that the GC is more than likely "Done" unless they repent.

Self-control is one of the fruit of the Spirit. You have the power to believe in Jesus or not to believe in Him. Jesus chose to come to the wicked world and He chose to come again and take us to where He is. Satan was pushed out of heaven, he has no power to force himself back to heaven. Each one of us has the power to live eternally or not (John 3:16) Choose to raise yourself up by (Prov.8:35) Rev. 1:18 "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death"
