We begin this quarter's lessons by looking at who John Mark was and the circumstances of his relationship with other disciples. The book of Acts gives us some context. Like comment subscribe

Great Lesson Study Hope Sabbath school panel Mighty Mighty God we serve God bless us all Amen and Amen 🙏♥️🙌

I also believe that as a true child of the living God, we shouldn't have to run and tell who you are but let others judge you on that.. that is what speaks value.. let your light so shine before men that they may see you good work and glorify God ..

I feel bad for Paul, everyone on the panel is judging him and saying he's wrong or took his eyes off Jesus. Since none of us were there, I don't think its right to judge. Paul had a mission and that was to spread the gospel of Jesus and if someone couldn't keep up or do what's expected of them, then he didn't need them at that particular time. Like a remote member said, he didn't need any dead weight holding him back. And also, think of the good that came of this. Instead of Paul, Barnabas and Mark going together, they split up and covered twice as much area spreading the good news about Jesus. Then later Paul realized Mark was ready now and welcomed him back.

Good study. I have no problem with Paul's reaction. He was a man of action and saw things differently. I don't think he was mean or unlovely in character. The Bible does not say he was un-Christlike. They only had a contention relative to taking Mark with them. Some of us would have acted the same way. I have seen much intolerance and unforgiveness in my local church.
So sad teaching young people satanic religious deception. Angels of light. They sound good but do NOT know the FINISHED work Jesus accomplished for salvation 15:29 . Paul's gospel given to him by Jesus himself --- a MYSTERY NOT known before Romans 16:25

Dear brethren fellow citizens of the heavenly kingdom. Our God gave them 1cor 14:22. The tounge is a sign for unbelievers but prophesy is for believers. God showed His power for the witchcraft. On the other hand God uses the babies praise and He said don't forbid them. That is why God used the young boy. Read: ps 8:2,Matt 11:25*26, 14: 15,21 :16. God wants praise from babies mouth for His strength. Babies are humble ones to carry His grace to obey God. Amen! P/r and the soldiers for Jesus the group. Keep up good work and stay tuned for the LORD Jesus and His imminent soon return. Amen! When you learn teach and when you get give. 🙏 read 2o:1-26. Babies were bowed for God. God said look my Son Jesus. Our degree is a piece of paper but our education is in our behavior. That is why they were harsh or angry. Well our God is a just judge and He is angry with the wicked ones every day. Ps 7:11. From the promise land heavenly sweet home. From CA K.Retta a child of the soon coming king Jesus forever. 🙏❤

There are some of us that are of the opinion that wrong should never be punished. They think that it's all about grace. Paul wasn't a perfect man but he stood for principles. When he rebuked Peter he did so under the influence of the holy spirit. Some of us are always compromising.

I see Pauls decision regards not taking Mark at that point was to protect him from all the dangers that he himself had experienced before on his journeys. As a father will protect his son Paul thought to protect Mark at time.

Im glad we are reading that Jesus is the Son of God! Even the Father said it. However, there’s a doctrine that teaches that the “sonship” it’s just a role!! That’s false. Please brethren don’t believe that. It’s like denying the True Son.

Great lesson study and discussion. However, we need to recognize that even in our willingness to do God’s work personality clashes and so it was a good thing for John Mark to work with someone else. We must be practical and honest because some of these things (working together or not) happens today even in our churches. With space and time things does work out. Thank God

There was no physical “dove”! The Spirit of the Holy fell “like” a dove. What are the characteristics of doves? While they descend the wings look like they’re glorifying or worshipping. God the Father was doing that to his Son through His Spirit
