I went outside this morning to water the plants and I heard a rustle in the bushes. To my surprise an old siamese cat came out of the bushes and gave me quite a startle followed by a friendly gaze. It's tattered collar displayed a frayed yet still legible nametag. On it was simply written "Jingles." As quickly as the old cat appeared it also disappeared in a flash. it's faded grey and black fur spiraled away like a vision .

Funny cat story. My future husband (at the time) had 2 cats...Mamie and Maizie. He asked me to come feed them now and then while he was in NC for Thanksgiving. My son and I went over to feed them and Mamie couldn't get up the stairs, she'd had a stroke. My son spoon fed her. When we came back the next day, Mamie was dead in a box. Maizie was watching over her. Fast forward a couple years and future hubby proposes and we move into the house. Maizie never liked me. I'm sure she blamed me for killing Mamie. Anyway, Maizie would always just give me the death stare as if to say, "Listen Bitch! I was here long before you got here and I'll be around long after you're gone!" Maizie lived to age 23. Oldest cat ever.
