When this song came out, it was featured on Mr.Suicidesheep's channel. That's how I first heard it. I was 22 years old. I had failed college twice and had my longest period without work. It lasted about 6 months. I had been in the claws of addiction to weed for about seven years at that point. It was normal for me to wake up at twelve, or even later and not do anything but smoke joints and browse the internet. I was becoming very aware that I didn't do much, but my mantra was always: "This year I'm gonna change! Just not now, but I will so it's okay." I loved staying in, away from the elements outside. I didn't like answering my phone if people called, and texts I could easily ignore, and then forget because I was so stoned. Time stood still and this song was at that moment, the perfect soundtrack/warning in my life. I have since found a stable job and kicked the addiction, so time is moving again. But never will there be a song that I so closely hold to my heart as much as this one. I was one of the dreamers.

In the video clip I saw a girl who I imagine is the subject of the song (a dreamer girl who needs to get a grip and learn that life is not what she has deluded herself into believing) and is made to look completely vulnerable and exposed. Embarrassed at her stupidity, she has a choice to feel sorry for herself and continue sleeping in until midday or get the fuck up and do something with herself before it's all over... Anyways. Great song.

Hey Jacque, am sure so many people can identify with / relate to the lyrics in this song, the thing is to find out what it is that you really want and not worry about what you should be doing - my experience is that the 'shoulds' in life cause about 97.8% of mental illness.. Still plenty of time - try out all sorts of things until you find out what suits you and what makes you feel happy and good about yourself..
