I just got one as well. Ive been watching so many videos showing how to break the PCC down. I havent done it yet. I feel like I wont be able to get it back together... But Im going to give it a shot soon after a few hundred more rounds.

Wow! Can you slather a bit more oil on that thing? And the bolt. You didn't show anything on the bolt.

Forgot a few steps in the function check: The safety check - cycle the unloaded action, pull the trigger and wait for a "click" that you hope you don't hear (no "click = safety works) and The sear check: Cycle the unloaded action, pull the trigger, keep the trigger pulled to the rear and cycle the action again without releasing the trigger. Then, slowly release the trigger to hear and feel the "click of the hammer/striker resetting to show that the gun is not going to inadvertently go full-auto on you and that is is indeed a safe, semi-auto firearm.

Great video, just got one and I haven’t gone to the range, how many rounds do I have to go thru before cleaning?
@incarnadinelifestyle3 жыл бұрын
It just depends. There is no hard rule about that. Some people will put hundreds or more before cleaning and some will clean it after 50 rounds. Your preference.

I clean every new gun before shooting

I was taught by my grandpa, a ww2 era marine, that any time the gun gets fired once or hundreds of times at the range it gets cleaned when you get home. This is how I have practiced my cleaning ever since. Is it perhaps excessive? Yes. But it’s a lot better than letting the barrel and receiver get caked on dirty and then trying to clean it. Plus it teaches you things about your gun, provides familiarity, and reenforces respect for my weapon and every round i eject from the gun after I fire it. Take care of your gun and it will take care of you.

You guys noticed Daisy Red Rider in his gun safe?

I have my very first Daisy BB gun that I got in 1967 and a couple of pellet guns in mine. Mostly to keep them dry and rust free.

For the life of me, I can’t get the stock assembly removed from the receiver. Screws are removed, but to won’t budge. Any tips?

This is for deep cleaning right? not for after every range day
@residuevideos Жыл бұрын
After every range you must clean. Especially rifles. Not your good old glock maybe. Glock you can shoot 2000 without cleaning, carbines, no.

When I put my trigger group back in the holes don’t align correctly anybody know how to fix this ?? Or what I might be doing wrong
@paulscanter55622 жыл бұрын
Hopefully you have figured this out, but give it a squeeze and the trigger assembly will go further into the receiver, lining the holes right up. It happens to me every time.

New to this and recently purchased a Ruger PC carbine with floating barrel. Any difference in the cleaning technique?

You have to move the magazine away from the gun, because the magazine always jump back into the gun on their own!

You went that far but didn't take the tungsten weight out, the bolt face or the two pins that hold the bolt face. Come on. You guys can do better than this. Hoppe to it.
