Thank you very much for pointing out that "refuge" is different than "refugee." 😂😂😂 Been learning English for 7 years, and I didn't even think about that. Live and learn everyday, folks! Going back from ICAST (Orlando) right now. Going to be bringing some cool Multi-Species/Micro Fishing videos from Central Florida real soon.

Extreme Philly Fishing Good start of the video though, had me lol within the first few seconds. I'm from Europe and we have lots of refugees but the wildlife refugee is a first for me!

Hey, I watch your videos all the time. it's great to see you fishing with your dad. My dad moved up to heaven so we can't fish anymore, but my wife and I fish 2-3 times a week.
@ryankiernan99957 жыл бұрын
I'm not an expert on snakehead fishing, but when you caught the micro snakehead, you said there was a school of them (aka a fryball). Isn't a fryball an indicator that there is an adult snakehead around protecting the school? I think if you threw your whopper plopper by the fryball, you would've had a good chance of hooking up with a bigger snake, but I may be wrong.
@fishforjesus48847 жыл бұрын
Ryan Kiernan I think you're probably right, this is usually true for other species.
@danielhelmer1087 жыл бұрын
FishForJesus yes extremely true when it comes to snakeheads they are extremely protective of there young have been reported to attack humans who enter fry balls
@daetouidk84637 жыл бұрын
Ryan Kiernan if Jeremy wade is correct, that should be true
@extremephillyfishing7 жыл бұрын
Ryan Kiernan As shown in the video, the "school" that I referred to consisted of 4-7 fish, all in the range of 3-4 inches. Those fish are about a month old now, so the fry balls from the early spawn are long gone. Lol. Tight lines and thanks for watching!

Extreme Philly Fishing well that's a standard tactic to target snakeheads where I lived. Maybe use that duck lure? I know for a fact that live ducks was used to target snakeheads.

lorenzo d I have mentioned this previously on the Channel: Mike from 1Rod1reelfishing and I still talk on a weekly basis. And he is more than welcome to crash at my place and even go fishing with me. However, no more filming for now between 1R1RF and EPF. After a number of reasons (i.e. sponsor drama, etc), I have decided to keep the friendship and cut the business side of our KZbin Channels. OK for one snakehead aren't easy to catch per say. 2-you have to really sneak around the banks they are extremely spooky fish actually pretty smart like trout. 3- Top water like a frog is your best bet with them. 4- They enjoy shallow stagnant water to lie and wait for food to pass by. 5- Did I mention they are really spooky so all that yelling your doing is not helping you out. Sneak up to bank and cast far far as far as you can.
