I'm from Chennai many north east people work here.I visited gangtok in 2021 April for first ever time in my entire life such a wonderful place liked it a lot more than darjeeling. In Chennai the weather is always hot and humid majority of the months with no winter season whatsoever but rains very heavily during north east monsoon season starting from end of October lasts till December

It's not about development..you won't find billionaires in Sikkim...majority of people belongs to middle class..but the thing is people are disciplined..basic things like cleanliness traffic rules are followed here ...

When is the best time to visit Sikkim? Few years back, i went there but couldn't enjoy more because everywhere it was either raining or cloudy. Even in rain Yumthang valley was beautiful.

What is the Right Time to Visit Gangtok ? Perfect time to visit Gangtok is March,April, May, June, October, November and December on these months you can visit Gangtok. Try to Avoid Holidays if you want to Travel in Budget. Try to avoid rainy Season .
