@taylorbaker8158 I wish I could reach you to give you a hug. Keep listening to the song, those tears are your spirit trying to cleanse you and free you from those shackles. Embrace the pain, embrace life again brother. Your family and friends love you. We miss you. You deserve to be loved. Every single one of us would rather have you asking us for help because you need it instead of going to your funeral. And it's OK to ask for help, because that's what your loved ones are for, we don't want you to suffer any more. We just want you back, just you, that's all. I'm gonna write that to you since I can't write to my friends who are gone now and can't come back. I wish I could tell them that life got better, and show them how it did. Just one day of sobriety at a time, and keep going man. It gets better. And one day you'll look around and realize how far you've come and you'll be filled with despair for where you were and that's OK too. You're allowed to survive. You're allowed to come back and live again. You have time now but you won't forever. Good luck out there.

In pretty much this exact situation myself. One of my best mates is a heavy drug user (Weed, Ecstasy, Shrooms, Meth) and has been for a few years now. When he started I told him I was against it and he kept going. I gave him an ultimatum of being friends with me or drugs and he chose drugs. I didn't speak to him properly for a year or two and now the only time I talk to him is when he needs something from me. He used to be so full of life and fun but now I struggle to hold a decent conversation with him that doesn't revolve about him last night getting "Fucked". This song hits home base Hopsin! In these moments many prayers go out to all my brothers and sisters who find themselves sttuggling to find their way thru this storm and to light their paths thru this darkness and illuminate their souls to overcome these afflictions and overpower the unrelenting forces of it's restraints and to conquer the trials and tribulations found only within the ordeals

Im a shy and introverted person. But there was this one girl in a group home I lived in that was literally my twin. We had the same energy, and everywhere i went, she went and vice versa. She was my sister and nobody could tell me otherwise. She was someone who was always there, she was my best friend, my soulmate (as a best friend), and my sister. But she got back into drugs, and she did a 180. She was mean to me and hated everyone, and we grew apart. I remember crying every night to myself because the one person who meant the world to me, my second half, had been replaced by someone else. That was one of the worst heart breaks I endured in my life. And the sad thing is we were in high school still. I still remember her, and sometimes it gets too much. I miss you, my sister 😢

This really hit me hard. I've lost friends to meth and heroin, and I know how it feels to have that big of a loss when it comes to people that aren't blood but are close enough to be family. I quit drugs cold turkey and cut down my drinking habits after all that has happened. I know I miss those people and I hope that I won't have to lose another. Thank you Hopsin for such a heart touching song.

The first time my best friend OD'd I drove 6 hours to go see him in the hospital. I always told him to stop that shit and it made a rift between us, even before I moved away... Four years later he's in the hospital because of meth and cocaine. When I saw him I slapped the shit out of him so hard I broke a bone in my hand, and broke a bone near his eye. I picked him up out of the bed, screamed in his face in frustration that the next time he OD'd he better hope the drugs killed him, because if not I would. I got removed from the hospital by security, and 3 months later, I carried, and buried him. Doze I'm so sorry man... For Gods sake y'all don't repeat this mistake, find the best way to deal with it and help them, don't give in to anger like I did. I regret it so much.

To hear your story does me good. So many times I've thought that if I'd would have beat the shit out of my friend maybe he would have got clean. I tried all I thought could without violence and have regretted it since. I wasted a lot of time and had my name drug threw the mud for just hanging with that friend who drained a lot of my time and energy, and never got clean. Now instead of regretting not resorting to violence I regret wasting the time I can't get back even messing with that dude. If your friend gets on that shit, let em go. Spend what little time you have in this life with those that love and enjoy your companionship. Don't waste it trying to get someone else's life together, no matter how much it hurts.

Hopsin has came by so far, and i respect his grind... Every morning while i'm on my way to school, i listen to Hopsin... Dont ever trust anyone who will try to convince u that drugs are good, u cant get addicted etc etc. Thats not person speaking, its drugs. Someone sign this man already!!! He is the true meaning of what rap should be. All talent and zero mumble. All heart and zero bullshit. All real life and zero drugs, money, women and criminality.

He's doing fine. I think a major record label would ruin him. Record labels don't care about songs like this. They're too real. They care about money over content.

Once he's signed. He had to rap about what the media wants. Which isn't the dangers of Drugs lmao. They promote it.

Isaac Butler Never could image losing my mom. I can't image how hard that feels. I have lost the most important person to meth. It was a year ago today. It kills me to even fathom the fact he is gone. I can't believe it was on purpose. Specified some cold shit in note. I just hope you can pull through, and make the best of it. I just know that I try each day to make it the best for his sake.

I am listening Hopsin and NF everyday. But Hopsin is like my friend and environment 10 years ago - real people, direct and honest. I really enjoy listening to his songs, because I am feeling that I am not alone in this fucked up world.
