One of the best songs ever written. A raw look at the deepest thoughts a human can have. The struggle of faith, the questions of why we're here, and how we're here? Truly amazing, and great delivery.

Anyone who thinks this song is about hating God, isn't honest with themselves about things they have absolutely felt. That's what this song is, imo. The internal conflict we ALL go through when contemplating God and on the edge of faith. He's confused. He's onto something big here. He's doing research, digging for answers, trying to find out where everything went wrong. He knows everything has been twisted up and ppl are brainwashed by the bullshit christianity front, but knows there something more to it all. We are being lied to hardcore. Jesus was possibly the first schitzophrenic. Its possible. Today, when someone claims they are God or Jesus reincarnated, what do we do? They are "crazy". So why is Jesus above that scrutiny? They didnt know better then. Dont give me "miracles". Those arent miracles...theyre parables...written by an author. Expand your mind...it doesnt make you less. IF Jesus was real...if God is real...theyll respect you more for finding your own path rather than just believing because you were taught to do so. I dont hate on people that believe. If something makes you a better person...then do what you need to in order to be a better person. But dont attribute your ability to be good to something else. YOU did that. I'm thankful that I'm still alive. Now I'm sick 😢 and now I understand how my mom felt 😞. To those doubting them selves, follow your hearts and chase your dreams. We are never guaranteed 24 hrs. this video made me realize I have yet to get over the feeling of abandonment from God. It encapsulates that exact feeling. Why? Why did I have to suffer so much? Why do I still have to suffer so much? When can I just get a break and enjoy life for what it is and not just the little that I have? Why do I have to fight every day? Why, when I cried out to you when I needed you the most, you let me fall away and die? I'm going to pray to Him about it. But I can't deny I still hold that anger towards God. He did save my life, but only in the final days before I was going to pass away. Then again, I must admit that His timing wasn't exactly wrong. If I hadn't suffered all of that, I also wouldn't have been prepared for what I'm going through right now.

I still feel the same things today when I listen to this song. The only difference is that I'm brave enough not to believe because I want to believe but haven't encountered anything that requires me to believe. I hope one day I can believe again, but for that "he" needs to be fair and merciful. If he claims to be just, he must prove it. If not, he is not honest either. And if he is not honest, he is neither wise nor noble. If he is neither noble nor wise, he is not a true god. I tried so hard to stay on track

I always try to figure out the truth of God existence, but I always conclude that he does through the miracles that he does. I mean Scientist can explain how they happen or why they do. But I after thinking I always stumble upon this question " Why did God create us if he knows about the path of destruction? was he just bored and decided to create Heaven and Earth with the Human race and everything that has happened and will happen in the future? isn't better do create us to worship him in Heaven and not on Earth? this question bother me a lot
@cruetusnex8 жыл бұрын
Taiwo Olaleye he created us to worship him in heaven, and on Earth. The time you spend on Earth is judgement, and without Jesus, all of us would've failed. Now all you have to do is acknowledge that Jesus existed and paid for our sins.
@Network1268 жыл бұрын
I've always had such a problem understanding how Jesus' crucifixion somehow pays for all of our sins - It just never made sense to me, and nobody can seem to explain it to me in a way that convinces me to believe it. I'm baffled at how many people firmly believe in it because they read it in the bible - That's like me trying to convince people to believe in a flying spaghetti monster, because I read it on the internet. People all over the world are killing eachother over things their religious texts say. It's fucking scary.
@cruetusnex8 жыл бұрын
Network126 originally, everyone would be sent to Hell due to all the sins they commit. Before Jesus, this was the case. God didn't think of this as the best way to handle it, so he made Jesus, pure and perfect, without sin. He made him so that people would no longer go to Hell because of their sinful lives. He eventually was crucified, and that paid for our sins, because God's only son died for us. Hope that clears stuff up.
@Network1268 жыл бұрын
I just don't understand how the creation and death of one perfect man, has anything to do with all of the rest of humanity, thousands of years and generations later, or how believing in him somehow magically makes him willing and able to save you.

People can argue over whether or not God exists. The truth is, science can't really prove God's existence, you have to look for him yourself. Anyone can shove the existence of God down your throat, but frankly, its up to you if you want to find him or not. That's why the bible says "seek, and you will find", and it's only till then that you will truly find him. God's intentions aren't to appear to you on the spot when you demand; his intentions aren't to answer your prayers immediately; but his intentions are to show you a different view of what makes life worth living. A true christian doesn't follow religion, cause religion destroys and separates people. Our beliefs are simple: build a personal relationship with he who is not seen - "blessed are those who have not seen me, and yet believed." -John 20:26-29. I'm not trying to spring a debate between God believers and atheists, and neither am I trying to put down hopsin's music, but I'm just trying to explain why believers believe in Him.
@Mandalorian9510 жыл бұрын
Travis No bro, the bible isn't to be taken in that manner. A lot of it is old testament rituals, which you mentioned in your comment, but that's why there's the new testament - to revoke all those past actions. The bible is one tricky book to understand dude, that's why you have to get into it - even if you don't believe. Anyways have a good one, Travis. : )

Anas “you were taught by the of government that homelessness and poverty is a choice” you misunderstood what I said, “sometimes” there’s a difference. You still never answered my question before, where does it say in the bible that Christianity is a business and all about money. You kinda disproof your argument, “Christianity encourages charity” I don’t see that business is profiting money when it’s a charity.
@johnwick10644 жыл бұрын
Anas Exodus 22:25: “If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.” Leviticus 25:35-37: “If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your God, that your brother may live beside you. You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit.” The Old Testament authority condemns taking interest from the rich and the poor, within the Jewish community. Jew is allowed to borrow money from a non-Jew and pay interest to him on the loan, thereby enriching him, and a Jewish person is also allowed to lend money to a non-Jew who asks for a loan and collect interest from him, just as non-Jews are allowed to lend and borrow money to and from each other with interest. Neither of this is harmful to society. Loans and interest are the two poles of the turbine that drives a healthy economy. When loans are available, merchants can make greater profits, builders can build bigger buildings, entrepreneurs can bring new ideas and inventions to the market, and families can live in better homes, more jobs, more food, more clothing, more choices of how you want to live. Edited: Just added a few things.

He is still looking for God according to his interview and I hope he finds what he searches for. This song really hits home to the faithful and the faithless. Everyone doubts. Even the strongest of believers have questions and although this song is hard hitting it is a clear depiction of the struggles people go through when it comes to thinking about the big questions of life. this is arguably the greatest song I have ever heard in my life and I'm 50 years old so that's saying something the words are timeless, I have a small core of favorite songs from a small core of favorite artists and this may have shot up to number one hands down, I can't believe I'm saying this about an artist and song that I'm hearing for the first time, if anyone ever comes up with something better I hope I'm still alive to witness it. great song!

+Anon Iman The funny thing is that there's no good without God, please define to me good, do not give me personal preferences! And please stop with this idea that people do good because they believe in God, Read Roman 2:15 "The law of God is written on people's mind" they can't escape it, that's the reason hopsin sings in this beat that there's no problem with not believing that there's right and wrong but then after turns around in another song calling people on their attitude!
@seaking3129 жыл бұрын
Ben G "The law of God is written on people's mind" and they can't escape it... srsly?! Do you mean that in a sense that God created mankind in his own image? ...and programmed us to use logic and common sense in a way he imagined it and in a way he uses it? Just imagine how humans are greedy, envious, lazy, stingy, rotten, angry... Does that mean God is the same as us? Is that the law of God you talk about? He wrote that on people's minds? Someone surely gave humans bad habits, could it be that God intentionally made us like broken toys?
@BenGLastreezy9 жыл бұрын
Anon Iman God created all of those things for your own dood but people twist them for evil! Let me give you a glimpse of what you call "evil" on the mirror of them being "good"! envy, people should use it to build theircharacter, i can envy your intelligence and by that i should feel pushed to do better to get where you are, we say that everyday, "man i envy your attitude" or things like those, and many othe stuffs! I don't look at all emotions as evil but they become evil when they are used to go against the moral code that God has drawn in your mind! Now i want to ask you something, according to evolution we were programmed blindly by our DNA to do what we do and act the way how we act, tell me why are you complaining?

He sounds like he was fighting himself in this song. This is the struggle many of us go through. Before anyone wants to judge someone for being a "non-believer" listen closely. He is trying to believe and making the effort, but he has a hard time keeping his faith. Some people are fine with believing in anything without question. Others want to see real answers other than old scripts written by other humans. I think if Hopsin is being true to himself and being a good person, that's all that should matter. Forget his religion or beliefs. In the end, humanity is what keeps people together. Not the creed (or lack of).

msjulicious Religion is purposeless, I personally don't believe in the spiritual side of any religion, but I can say that religion does bring people together and can change some people into living a more functional and well-being lifestyle. But at the end of the day, religion doesen't matter, as long as you're a good person...thats what really matters!
