Yo, i'll be honest. I heard this song a first time and I was mad at hopsin for dissing religion but I stopped and started thinking. Hopsin has every damn right to doubt and search. He sounds like he was fighting himself in this song. This is the struggle many of us go through. Before anyone wants to judge someone for being a "non-believer" listen closely. He is trying to believe and making the effort, but he has a hard time keeping his faith. Some people are fine with believing in anything without question. msjulicious Religion is purposeless, I personally don't believe in the spiritual side of any religion, but I can say that religion does bring people together and can change some people into living a more functional and well-being lifestyle. But at the end of the day, religion doesen't matter, as long as you're a good person...thats what really matters!
